Look I don't kill people on my sets like Alec Baldwin.
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
As we have about all the DVD's to fill in time to when Jesus returns, I do not spend time looking at titles or wasting money on them. I did though this past week browse in having nothing to do, and found a 2021 movie by Clint Eastwood called Cry Macho.
Yes the Spanish lingo and title sounds stupid as all Mexican things sound, and I had no idea what the movie was about, but picked it up for a dollar.
I'm not going to tell you a thing about the movie other than it was named after a Dick Nash novel and it is a good movie. It is Gran Torino with a happy ending. In that, I'm most pleased that Mr. Eastwood made this movie, by his own company as the writing was very good, the casting was great and he took a book and made it into a movie which was watchable for the 104 minutes it was on screen.
I had my doubts at the beginning in the music, but it was a Dwight Yoachim thing and he is a good shit in real life it seems, so other than that, the movie was good, a type of story you saw on Gunsmoke years ago.
It pleased me to see this work, as I never liked Unforgiven as a kind of apology on Eastwood's career, as he had something to apologize for in violence. I was just glad that right wingers like him and Robert Duvall were able to bring to the screen some of the best cinema in making movies they wanted to make.
I would that there were more movies like Cry Macho as the mix was right and it pulled you in so you forgot you were watching a movie. They just do not make movies like this and never really did. This is a recommend movie.
This is one of Clint Eastwood's best movies
Nuff Said.
