He is a mirror image of Sec. or War Pete Hegseth in turning the US military into a fighting machine. This is a most interesting group in Vance, Hegseth and Driscoll in all are military men from the lower ranks and each have an agenda to make the United States military into what it should be.
The subdued response by the Russians in “this is an army man”, indicates they read in Driscoll someone who is a formidable force in the base of what is the American military response to the world. For his to be risen from nowhere, favored by both parties, indicates he is a resolute voice, akin to a James Webb in standing his ground.
One is witnessing that the war in Ukraine was conducted by the political wing of the Pentagon and the State Department. The peace in Ukraine is going to be enforced by the military wing of the United States Government. Something not noticed is the War Department is the one on the trail of 100 million dollars that ended up in Zellinskyy’s accounts.
