I view gold and silver, no different than inflated home prices. You can’t spend it, you cant’ eat it, and you can’t haul it around. It is more for your relatives to cash in on when you are laying in the casket.
What Turner explains though is that our tech world has overtaken the paper trading world on silver. Samsung, Elon Musk and governments are cash buyers of real silver. They use the stuff in industry and it is gone once purchased. It is not traded. This has shorted silver supplies in there is not enough, which has the London traders speculating and driving up silver costs.
The banks tried to nuke the price spike by making buyers come up with more covering money for the silver they buy. See you get options on silver to buy silver for not the entire price, just part, like fractal lending.
That nuke of silver buying did not work. Markets went down 1%, but the tech giants simply saw the price drop as a price drop and bought more as they are hedging against 100 dollar an ounce silver.
With what Turner mentioned previously, and who knows correctly, that Russia and India were responsible for the price swings and now it is Elon Musk and the Koreans, is a moot point as I don’t have silver, won’t buy silver and none of this matters as I do not have money to invest in things. The money I receive is saved for a place to live and is spent on things to live.
The problem is and it is national security is the United States, needs more of a robotic Musk work force, to go out and gather up metals on the ocean floors and refine them with coal smelters than we need more bombs. This is something President Trump should get toot sweet on, as this nonsense of AI and burning our electricity for this robotic plain is not cost effective. You can’t have technology without silver, unless you invent a superconductors to replace metals and then you better have the material for the superconductors.
This is the basis for a national security strategy, just as the national coal reserve I advocated for in Trump1 never got done, and now HAARP is freezing Americans to make them burn natural gas which is not shipping to plunder those assholes of Europe.
