While President Trump and Ambassador Witkoff have accomplished great advancements in the talks with the Persians, the Persians should be commended on their movement too in various offerings to America. The reality is though in the posturing, both sides are moving toward the footing to defend their own interests.
As I have stated, the information flow is now in the pipeline that Iran has moved to the process to assembling nuclear weapons. I stress the process, as putting the parts on the table, and mounting them on a missile are two different situations, as Japan has shown.
Senator Schumer, a Jew, pretty well stated that this is a Jewish policy now in not just protecting Tel Aviv, but the United States and the President had to make the case to thee American People.
John Thune filled in a bit more and stated that Iran is nuclear.
"The President is preparing us to defend America’s vital national security interests. We cannot tolerate a nuclear Iran."
So we are at that point of the sword. Iran does not want to give up missiles as that is the shield against Tel Aviv intrigue. Iran is sucking in Moscow and Peking in weapons, and further complicating the situation, because if they sink American ships, that is the line which will bring the hell fire to Iran.
So negotiations are prevailing, but the measures to insure if they do not succeed, are in active place on both sides.
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee publicly said today "Already today, Iran's agents operate in 12 countries in the Western Hemisphere. This is no longer just a Middle Eastern issue. Iran is a global threat."
VICE-PRESIDENT JD Vance says Iran BETTER make a deal tomorrow during negotiations or FAFO could play out "I hope the Iranians take it seriously tomorrow! [...] We want diplomacy...if we have to use the MILITARY, the president has that right!"
Vance went on to say "A reasonable settlement: Iran CAN'T HAVE a nuclear weapon. The Supreme Leader should understand it."
United States Senate Majority Leader John Thune said publicly today "The President is preparing us to defend America’s vital national security interests. We cannot tolerate a nuclear Iran."
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi repeated publicly today "We will not give up our nuclear activities for peaceful purposes. If the US decides to attack us - its bases in the region will be legitimate targets for us, even if they are on Arab countries."
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 26, 2026 is the deadline set by President Trump for Iran to submit its final proposal to deal with US (and Israeli) demands concerning Iran's nuclear program, its Ballistic Missile program, its use of Proxies like HAMAS in the Gaza Strip, HEZBOLLAH in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen and its continued sale of oil to China.
Yes this can erupt to a major event, a nuclear situation in the state of Tel Aviv or the United States in Jew York City, which once again takes us to the reality that all gloves are off and Peking and Moscow can not shield the turban heads any more. The nuclear gen is there, just as Iran using it's missiles to shatter what is the Jewish state and make the people exodus. That would bring the American major response, instead of the limited one, where the United States would cripple Iranian air defenses, and keep ratcheting up the bombing until the turban heads were driven out by their people or they stopped.
None of this is really to worry about as most people do not live in Jew York nor are in the state of Tel Aviv. Most of us do not have a family member on a ship, base or plane, This is all cursory to the majority of people in it is not a threat.
There is enough horse trading between Mr. Putin and Mr. Trump that the two are not going to get into nuclear loggerheads over this. It will simply play out.
It is the reason I'm not covering all this that much, as this is a step which will be taken in some way and not jumping off the nuclear cliff.
