Following the last round of talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, Iran’s foreign minister and negotiator Abbas Araghchi declared in a post on X on April 17 that the Strait of Hormuz was “completely open.” This came after he also signaled that his government could be flexible over the issue of nuclear enrichment as well as Iran’s support for its proxies in the region.
Then came an abrupt correction. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, a former commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) who was recently appointed as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, is understood to have complained to the IRGC, submitting a report that criticised Araghchi for “deviation from the delegation’s mandate.”

“Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal,” Trump said in a statement.
“I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” the president said.
The second part is what this blog posted weeks ago when Pakistan appeared as thee arbitrator in these talks. Pakistan is about to lose face in the Tehranians lying to them as Pakistan is the power in the region. This means when this moves to next dismantling phase that Muslim Pakistan will be involved militarily, as Tehran betrayed Islamabad.
This is exactly the position the United States should be in, in this operation. It is astute of President Trump this chessboard.
The prediction here is simple. Tehran will bloviate again over stupid positions as the turban heads can not give up, or they will be hung by the next government or hunted down, as no one wants these terrorists in their country. So the bombing will resume to turn Iran into blacker than Obama at night.
The people in Iran who want this ended, will have their hands tied again. They showed they could open the Strait, but could not bring the Guard along with the missiles and nuke issue. The proposal will again be the nonsense of these unwilling martyrs.
Pakistan must be the operational front for future operations into the Asian Stans in the fracturing of China. This is the Center East. The Mideast will be a cooperative of Arab Suni. The West East will be led by Egypt as always.
As the President is issuing "one way or the other", the conclusion phase of this should begin in what is about to manifest. Pakistan operational, ends Turkey's gambit at Ottoman II. This is correct US policy.
The IRGC was not suddenly conjured by this war, but prepared by decades of institutional entrenchment, economic capture and delegated coercion. The IRGC’s military dictatorship in the making needed this war to consolidate its influence over competing nodes in the network – most importantly the clergy.
As I stated from the beginning, this is a wetware war in which 100,000 Guards must be exterminated. All of this has been planned out for decades, the war against the United States, Jews, Saudi Arabia and against the mullahs. The Jews will be required to fulfill their purpose in their talent of mass assassination of this will have a nuclear guard.
The President has done several personal favors for the Pakistani Government. The Lord of War owes the President. That is good business for America.
