The Russian media had an interesting examination of the past energy crises. Read the following and see the common denominators as there are two.

Until now, it was believed that the largest energy crisis was the very first — in 1973, when OPEC introduced an oil embargo against a number of Western countries, including USA, which supported Israel during the Arab-Israeli War. Then oil prices quickly quadrupled — from three to 12 dollars per barrel, and by February 1974 they doubled — to 24 dollars.
During the second crisis, which began in 1979 due to the Islamic revolution Iran, prices also increased several times — from 14 to 40 dollars per barrel. Western companies that were engaged in oil production left the country, the fields were nationalized, and this led to a sharp drop in Iranian oil production.In 2022, the oil crisis was triggered by sanctions pressure on Russia. Then prices immediately reached $140 per barrel. Due to the embargo by the United States and the fear of Europeans to buy our oil (although there is an official ban from outside EU not yet) Russia had to cut production by one million barrels per day.
Let us look at the numerators first.
The numerators on top were President Richard Nixon was President in the first crisis. President Ronald Reagan was President in the second crisis. The third crisis was not in 2022, but in the Barack Hussein Obama production cut for his green swindle scheme. Each event though was designed to hurt Republican American Presidents, just as the current hit is designed to hit Republican American politicians.
For the demoninators, what is common. The commonality is simple. It was Muslim Tel Aviv wars in 1973, and today.
