I never knew clay, skeet and trap shooters were such pussies, nor that they were such Nancy hall monitors until looking at a few threads in the load I was trying to find which my dead brother head in a 1400 fps light load which I called catwackers.
On one site, the hall monitor was admonishing a questioner who used *#&($ for swear words as it reflected badly on all. Asshole like that and no one wants to be around a Nancy with a gun. Another site was stating there was no need for a load like this. What a crock of shit. Sounds like the pricks Norman Schwartzkopf ran into at the firing range with their expensive guns.
I was looking at archive.org in the Thomas Griffin recipes for shooting and came up with some one ounce loads and I think maybe that is what my brother was brewing up as he said not much powder and anything with 1 1/8th ounce and higher speeds gets you into magnum quantities of powder.
So I saved them and save them here for my keeping in this private conversation.
Remington cases 7/8th ounce lead shot

Winchester hulls 7/8th ounce lead

As you can see none are 1400 fps, but they are getting close and most do not use a great deal of powder and they are not dealing with high chamber pressures. I think that one with Winchester hulls and Competition powder is one I want to try at low chamber pressures, low powder quantity and 1356 fps is where I'm gunning for in that 1400 fps load.
On the page where the whiner was saying no one needed a fast load, I finally found the unicorn I have been looking for.
Am most grateful for one person who does not have their head up their ass being a pest, but actually had loaded something and was not whining about their period while being a hall monitor.
1 OUNCE OF LEAD SHOT LOAD:
In a AA c/f case [ old style] I had several loads pressure and chrono tested at an ammo manufacturing plant and the following info was obtained;
Win 24 gm wad, 21.5 grains Universal powder, CCI primer gave an average velocity of 1432 fps @ an ave pressure of 7242 psi over the test batch of 10 shells, same shells/wads/primers BUT 19.8 of 700X gave 9862 psi and 1424 fps. All readings taken at muzzle. I had been using these loads for many years before I had access to a pressure gun.
To get out of Hodgedon or Universal powder only 7200 psi, while scorching at over 1400 fps on just 21 to 19 grains of powder depending on the match, is exactly what I'm looking for. The Universal is the one I would go for. I know my dead brother was all Winchester components from AA's to powder and some cheap wads, but if I ever get the donations, I will run these up the flag pole and salute them as this one ounce load which is not 7/8ths is the ticket. Some Nancy was pestering that the guy needed to say this was a 1 ounce load as someone might make a mistake. Darwins do have a purpose in life for being stupid too. Can't say Nancy's do as they are just annoying and do not blow their heads off.
I have to close this out with that dumbass photo above of two skirts. The reason I used it is they have a baby Irish Setter who was ruined by the AKC. It is just stupid as one skirt has a scoped rifle and the other has a double barrel shotgun. The looking through binos just makes me frown at the stupid as they are mixing two different types of hunting, as Setters are not hoof hunters with rifles and you don't blast grouse with a scoped rifle.
I suppose some Nancy would say, "Well maybe they are hunting turkeys or someplace you can use a dog on deer". Yes Nancy and that popping sound is you pulling your head out of your twat as you have cunt for brains.
That leaves this a that. Am putting my recipes away into my storage mail box and I hope someday before Jesus returns to whomp up these loads and give them a test.
