I wanted to share something in this 500 year drought cycle we have. It is how I protect my little plants from cut worms, rabbits and cats shitting on them to death and what is it, is plastic water pipe, cut into sections.
I have the white pipe which I think is 6 inches, but for big things like cabbages you need whatever that green pipe is, maybe 12 inches to keep watering the plants. Works better on vines too so you can find it in that jungle to water……….put a wire staked plastic flag in the pipe helps too.
This allows a concentration of water. With the sun blazing even with HAARP goo wet underneath, these cabbages were wilting the day before. So I carry water and water it in. Concentrates the water so nothing is wasted. Also when you fertilize it keeps the nutrients in that area and they do not leach out.
Once again the million dollar knowledge in how to survive.
