The stuff that dreams are made of

My favorite cinema film is Big Jake, starring John Wayne. It is a story of a reclusive Grandfather being asked to rescue the grandson he has never met from a group of terrorists led by Richard Boone.
It is old west and the new America of 1900. The point of the entire movie is the bandits who retreat to Mexico want $1 million or they will murder the boy, like they murdered almost everyone at the ranch to get him.

John Wayne delivers the chest of money and Richard Boone opens it in the dark, shining a lantern on it, and in a looks could kill glare, stares at John Wayne as Mr. Wayne delivers the line,"That's the stuff that dreams are made of".

The chest is full of Sears Roebuck catalogue papers cut up.

The American culture has always had a childlike goodness to it from Poor Richard's Almanac by Benjamin Franklin, Judge Roy Bean dispensing justice for Lily Langtree, our Soldiers with pin ups on their planes to the Playboy Centerfold. In every case, these dalliances beyond the reality which poor people suffer in life, were a Christmas, a moment of what is good in America that they could delude themselves into, as they were fighting in some Vietnam or Iraq where Cindy Margolis just made these men feel better as a salve to their lonesome duty.

Where this is tracking is the inspiration for this post in Debbie Boostrom of Florida, a once Playboy Centerfold, and the stuff dreams were made of.
I have great deal of compassion for women in Playboy as Hugh Hefner chose a class of females who were of low self esteem, being products of divorce or Army brats.

It is a traumatic thing to be a "nobody" one day, and have millions of perverts masturbating to you in the male and lesbian classes for a month, and then disappear without another appearance in Playboy to stoke your career so you can make a living.

Centerfolds are the greatest reflection of American times and reality in they have not the greatest lives, some have normal lives and some actually find Tinseltown to be real for a time.

Debbie Boostrom though was all of the above. I will not speak to the gossip, but utilize an expose Leeza Gibbons aired which in cryptic terms went something like Ms. Boostrom rode fame, some rich powerful male rode her and somewhere in there, she produced children, something which really infuriated her husband who in court took everything away from her.
Centerfolds attract bed post notchers and the worst kind of predators, with families to back them up in harming these women as Shari Knopski and Christy Thom's scarred lives have them huddled in trying to make their way in life.

That is why in all of this drama and trauma, an event now two years ago in July still bothers me deeply as much as Walter Koenig's son from Star Trek, in Debbie Boostrom, shot herself in Florida, decomposed there for two weeks in her apartment and except for some internet rumor, this beautiful woman has had her entire story coverd up.

When Dorothy Stratton was blown apart by her husband with a shotgun it sent waves through the Playboy empire which seemed to do something to the entire entertainment industry in the predation on Centerfolds and the problems they faced were not ever going to see the light of print or television again.
That is why the decades old glimpse Leeza Gibbons featured about the men who preyed on women of the industry was both repulsive and sickening to hear that anyone would treat others like that. Yet that is what our prisons, entertainment, industry and political circles are filled up with in predators abusing men, women, children and animals for fetish.

Someone immediately scrubbed Debbie Boostrom from online newspaper accounts and all that was left was the hearsay of some saying brain aneurysm, some saying terminal cancer, and the lone newspaper account which was scrubbed stating Ms. Boostrom died of gun shot with no further information.
Logic dictates this was either her ex's family who if they were powerful enough to take children from a mother for what she was doing, could keep the same headlines from the press, or, this is Hugh Hefner scrubbing the Playboy persona of the now numerous dead Centerfolds and shattered lives the women of Playboy are shackled by.

Ask yourself about the Anna Nichole Smith saga in how that was played out nonstop by Mary Hart. Look at the fraud of the Michael Jackson freak show now repeating in how wonderful he is and the family promoting the idiocy that Jacko was murdered for his music catalogue, when it appears this dope addict with a warped mind probably injected an overdose into himself........ask yourself why Debbie Boostrom did not get one passing mention so people could mourn her from Mary Hart?
In the industry if you want future interviews and backing, you only report what the industry wants.

People deserve proper respect, and Debbie Boostrom deserved better than reaching a point in life where she blew her head off and laid their decomposing for weeks, because no one bothered to check on her.
People get to those points in life, through a series of bad events that mount up, and they judge they have no where else to escape.

In that, I literally demand that Hugh Hefner, the entire porn industry with all their butting into Screen Actor Guild and Writers unions, barring the "little people from joining the fray be forced to take those billions they take from American and the world selling dreams, and expand the hospice system which Bob Denver (Gilligan) was afforded as he was dying from cancer.

There is no reason in that glamorous industry that paid transportation, lodging and Christian counselling to medical treatment should not be available for people like Debbie Boostrom where they can at least have the choice of fleeing to, as no American wants to see someone they were a fan of dying a horrid death.
Chris Farley had drug problems and he was not pretty in his zebra striped blood pools in his bloated body laying in a Chicago apartment. You are not going to save every Elvis or John Belushi, but for the majority of the people who are in entertainment who are styling hair or selling jewelry, they need to have a system in place where they do not disconnect from the American public, so they do not end up murdering themselves...........and then having it all covered up, because powerful people preyed on them and pushed them to a point that they had their humanity stolen from them.

In the few comment pages on Debbie Boostrom, you can read the actual feeling fans had for a woman they never met, because she was Christmas morning to them in being something pretty in their ugly lives. The disconnect people who commit suicide have in being seared away from the reality of the pain they inflict on others who care about them, as everyone touches people's lives in some way, must stay connected as the immense eternal pain they have overcomes their considering the trauma others have in their deaths.

Glamourcon provides some outlet for income and a link with fans, but people need something more in the quiet time to be more than just something the industry feeds off of and then spits out.

Debbie Boostrom was the stuff dreams are made of. She dated Mac Davis who snorted his career away on coke. Her real life and death saga is being hid deliberately now by people who want her swept away. I may be late in this venture, but this blog is not going to be swept away as even if knights in shining armour ride in too late, at least it helps the nightmare not be so grim, that years after someone has passed from this world, they made a big enough impression that others are still going to stand for them when the world has moved on to the new edition of the month or making pervert Michael Jackson out to be a saint.

Hugh Hefner why don't you do something decent and create an entire caretaker program based upon the SAG model, and stop breaking these china dolls.
