I was listening to Rush Limbaugh for a few moments and heard him "educating" his audience on the Bakken Reserve of American oil, compared to Obama 67% price increase in fuel since he stole the White House.
The Limbaugh quote was to the effect of, "They are drilling out there in North and South Dakota in the Baaken Reserve".
I have exposed that Rush Limbaugh is wrong in whopperville more than his 99% plus something statistics, which proves his fact checkers are half brains also. What I will do here is explain oil to readers and hopefully the intellectual thief Limbaugh will become educated, and at least Mark Levin will stop yelling about biofuels too as these guys are uneducated on the subject, so that means they are wrong.
I never refer to Bakken by it's oil name, but instead of it as the Williston Basin, because that is the big town in Teddy Roosevelt land of the Missouri and Little Missouri drainage. It is a misnomer of me to call it a basin, because it is more of a long valley which starts in Montana and ends up in Missouri.
There are table lands in this region, divided by breaks as they are called, or divides as Teddy Roosevelt's generation did, about every 15 miles you can see in the distance. The breaks are by the rivers and you climb them to a new level in elevation, until you get the real breaks in North America called the Rocky Mountains.
Rush Limbaugh is flat ass wrong in saying South Dakota is drilling oil. The Baaken formation barely stretches into northwestern South Dakota, and a few wells are there in that shale formation, but the geological structure changes rapidly in South Dakota.
That is not to state that there is no oil in South Dakota as I know there is. I have stated that Faith, South Dakota drilled a water well and hit oil and recently a water well was drilled by Belle Fourche and hit oil too, but South Dakota is a state where the government owns the oil royalties mostly and not the landowner, so Obama Inc. is not drilling there, even on Indian lands as this blog exposed exclusively in this in the criminal Herseth Sandlin saga no one else covered.
The oil then to fact check Limbaugh is being produced in western North Dakota and eastern Montana. Do not though lump that together either as Montana has spots of high grade sweet crude not in the shale so pure it is green crude and not black. The majority of the oil though now produced is from the oil shale which is a miracle.
What is done as I have explained here is a shaft is drilled down vertical. Then another is drilled horizontal. Pressurized water is then pumped in to fracture the oil shale, and the result is oil seeps into the well shaft, and this is how as much oil as in Libya is said is coming out of Sydney, Montana and the Williston, North Dakota area.
What Limbaugh has no idea of in his ignorance, is that these oil wells are in peak production now. DO NOT equate this to that fabricated PEAK OIL which is a lie, but understand that in oil shale wells that you have a 3 year period where the oil is pumping at maximum, and then the oil tapers off for the twenty year life of the well.
North Dakotans are well aware of this and the corn growers there are pushing hard to invest this time of plenty in tax revenues to reduce taxes to keep oil companies drilling, and to find a way to invest in something which will keep North Dakota solvent.
So to repeat that so it soaks in, North Dakota has a 3 year window as does America for this oil up there, before it tapers off to normal levels which will last twenty years in this basin of oil shale.
This is where Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin have got to get the point in this, as the land which this oil is located on is arid grasslands, the great American Desert of yore. It has cactus on it which I have crawled through while duck hunting as Teddy Roosevelt did, and it raises around 13 bushel of wheat per acre which at 8 dollar wheat is still barely 100 dollars an acre.
What I advocate as George W. Bush was meandering on about in bio fuels is like the North Dakota corn growers and the Montana U are looking at corn crops from long ago which actually the early Indian and white farmers were raising as I have noted here.
Iowa corn will not grow in Montana and the western Dakotas as it is too tall, in the wind would snap it off, it requires in height too much water and oil fertilizers and the high plains growing season is too short.
There are old Oscar Will and now unknown farmers corns which will grow in that region. Some are Northwestern Dent which is a red corn, and the abandoned Minnesota 13 which in the east was not high producing, but in Montana it thrived.
See you will not get 200 bushel corn in Montana or the western Dakotas, but you will get in some types 50 to 75 bushels of corn, which at 7 dollar a bushel corn would be 350 to over 500 dollars an acre. This surpasses 100 dollar wheat when it is attempted, plus one can use the stalks and yes the food in corn after ethanol, as bio fuels only take out the starch to make alcohol, to feed American beef too.
I estimate on the bottom lands of these three states there is alone 1.5 billion dollars of corn production waiting for these poor farmer rancher economies. When one turns that into bio fuels, that turns into billions more.
A cycle then starts in a rancher buys things as other states are buying his corn, beef and bio fuels. The states having funds in taxes starts buying things too, like cars from Detroit, machinery for farming and clearing roads, computers from Washington etc. etc. etc....
This is a win win for America, as the money stays in America. It is not taking any ground out of production, but increasing production on ground only used for growing buffalo grass.
Some might ask, "Why was this not done before?"
It was children, but when the now major Monsanto agribusiness crop producers set a market standard, they got Cargill to refuse to buy Northwestern Red corn as it was red, and Rustler was a white corn...........only the yellow dents would be purchased and as Pioneer Corporate hybrids were producing well, it drove the corn prices so low that it was not worth the effort in Montana to plant even Minnesota 13 which is a yellow dent.
It was just more cost effective to graze beef cattle for a small profit.
See if Rush Limbaugh was informed, he would comprehend the reality that bio fuels are the answer when pegged to American oil reserves, as it keeps the money circulating in America for great jobs and taxes, and it stretches our oil production to literally 4 times what we have, and that means 4 times the fuel reserves the world has at full production.
It would help if Limbaugh was educated as this investment would not cost Americans anything as local oil and agriculture would do the investment........no federal money necessary. It would put the money into the pockets of GOP Conservative states from Texas to North Dakota, which means a national Conservative Government of a real Republic, keeping America out of oil wars and Obama wars.
The oil companies do not want their money pie cut nor do the cartels as this creates competitors in America now almost wiped out........the same cartels whose stolen money gets filtered to intellectual thief Limbaugh.
Now I have been nice in explaining this to Rush Limbaugh again, and more detailed in being a real informed source on this energy production in I actually know which states this involves.
For the record, if Sarah Palin gets back on the God track, her campaign in 2012 should be simple, "It was drill baby drill in 2008 and in 2012 it is going to be plant baby plant, as oil and agriculture produce America to cheap energy prices and a booming economy, free from wars and terrorists."
That is what the explanation is, and now all of you can be informed and informing others of this reality exclusively explained here...........as God always has this blog scouting the territory which others are coming later to survey the line as their own intellectual property.
America needs to invest like a laser now in America before the Wyoming, Dakotas and Montana peaks are trickling and America is at the mercy of the nation rapists again.
