Our Joan, that would be Joan of Arc du Lis, is known to have been afforded a sword buried at a Church in France before her epic rescue of France. This sword was entrusted to her, and like Excalibur of King Arthur, disappeared before her capture.
I have spoken of this sword and it was said it was Charles Martel's, and for the sake of educating the necessity of the peoples of Christian west as it shrinks, this is who Charles Martel is and this is the Battle of Tours which saved the world, before there was a France.
Prince Charles as he was known, was in reality Karl Martel. Martel not being a familiar name, but the Nordic name of The Hammer, as in the Hammer of Thor.
As I do not like the name Charles, and as my Grandfather disliked the name Carl, I choose Karl her to refer to this first Frankish rescuer of France and all Christianity.
