For the record in this, it was NEVER US GOVERNMENT POLICY to make Indian Reservations sovereign territories in America, but to END the reservations once the peoples were civilized and to incorporate Indians as Americans into the culture.
This was standard policy and why the Indians were given the right to vote as that legally ended their separate nations status.
I warned of this from the beginning in Obama in 2009 was signing over legal rights to Indians which he has no authority to do, as this is Congressional and State jurisdiction.
