In the American war for Independence of 1776, there was a matter of treatment of American POW's by the British. General Washington in most diplomatic terms laid out the case for the fair treatment of Americans in a letter to General Gage.
General Gage was a garrison General, and his leadership were rude and arrogant, so his reply to Washington was rude and arrogant in threatening the "American criminals with the cord".
Henry Cabot Lodge makes the following statement upon General Washington's letter:
"A little bluster or ferocity, any fine writing, or any absurdity, and the world would have sneered, condemned, or laughed. But no man could read this letter and fail to perceive that here was dignity and force, justice and sense, with just a touch of pathos and eloquence to recommend it to the heart. Men might differ with the writer, but they could neither laugh at him nor set him aside."
In the letter, George Washington promised the same jailing of British officers if the British did not treat the Americans with respect, and he carried out that promise to teach the British the lesson.
In this, General Washington understood the key to British mindset as explained by Cabot Lodge:
"Washington had grasped instinctively the general truth that Englishmen are prone to mistake civility for servility, and become offensive, whereas if they are treated with indifference, rebuke, or even rudeness, they are apt to be respectful and polite."
George Washington remonstrated the same scene with Lord Howe and others, but he gained respect and made the British bend to his will, so America POW's did receive better treatment from the British tyrants.
All of this is a telling point in the 21st century in the guise of the image of Birther Hussein Obama Chin Jinn, in there is a difference between American foreign and American born.

I listen to the always experts who state that Vladamir Putin does not have a grasp of Americans. This comes from the Henry Kissinger in the David Letterman cocktail crowd of elitists. Dr. Kissinger is sound in his assessments of the Crimea situation on historical base, but there is a misunderstanding for years now in the American leftist which has been in a fury that a majority of Americans actually admire the qualities of Vladamir Putin, because he is a strong leader.
It is why Mr. Putin's poll numbers rise and Birther Hussein's poll numbers decline.
Let us examine all of this for Americans in the right, who are the majority have a history in this of perception. They have witnessed Obamerica, put Hosni Mubarack into a cage. They saw Lara Logan gang raped. They saw the actor playing Sheik bin Laden slaughtered and babies crawling around in his feces, blood and urine. They saw Col. Khadaffi dragged through the streets and murdered. They saw 40,000 Syrians slaughtered.
The only person who stopped all of this Obama rapine was Vladamir Putin. Vladamir Putin was the only world leader who stood up and called it evil, as Americans in a majority were very hurt inside in having their brand put onto such heinous plots.
The Ukraine is an issue of the cartel punishing Mr. Putin in trying to arrest it from him. The cartel can call Vladamir Putin names as Obama spends hours on the phone with Putin looking weak, but in the end even Bob Costas revealed the American left in calling Putin a peace maker in a direct slap at Barack Nobel Obama, and what engaged a biological attack upon Bob Costas in the pink eye infection.
The Russians have been acting themselves as Americans in this. They have openly mocked Birther Hussein in being a phone chatter and then with bluster stated they could turn America into a pile of nuclear ashes. As President Richard Nixon said, "Americans love winners".
Vladamir Putin is a winner and the Russians have played this Obama hand extremely well over Crimea.
Examine the reality in Barack Obama, the Constitutional usurper is now lecturing Vladamir Putin on Ukraine Constitutional matters, after Obama overthrew the pro western Ukrainian government in 2009, as a bribe to Mr. Putin. The image of Barack Obama has just said that Crimean peoples do not have the 1776 right to vote to live under the government they choose. It is a reality that Obama is telling the people of Crimea to accept the shackles while Vladamir Putin is sending in forces to free those people.
Henry Cabot Lodge termed General Gage as, "He was an inconsiderable person, dull and well meaning, intended for the command of a garrison town, and terribly twisted and torn by the great events in which he was momentarily caught. His masters were stupid and arrogant, and he imitated them with perfect success, except that arrogance with him dwindled to impertinence."
Can anything in the 21st century be any more resounding of the mirror image of Barack Hussein Obama Chin? North Korea has won in blackmailing the Obama regime over the Holder Boston Blow Job.
That is what winning looks like, and nations like China with Formosa problems already emboldened by Obama in pressing against Japan, are assessing how to annex more of the China Sea possessions. That is why the disaster of crashing a Malaysian 777 filled with Chinese as a lesson to the Chicoms is such an ill time disaster for the regime of Birther Hussein to be drawn into.
Omerica is now one of reputation of arming terrorists, using terrorism, directing terrorists and terrorism in Benghazi and enslaving Crimeans. Americans want absolutely no part of this Obama regime and that is why Vladamir Putin has played Crimea masterfully as he used the democracy vote to acquire land and not tanks as in South Ossetia as he was lured into by George Soros in Georgia.
The Obama regime sends a destroyer to the Black Sea for manuevers. In warships a destroyer is nothing more than a Coast Guard Cutter. In American Navy terms, there is the line battleship which America all retired. Then there is the Cruiser, which none exist. Then there are Frigates which America has, and then comes the Destroyer.
One gun boat playing with itself, now there is a real message of weakness to the world.
Everything the Obama regime has done has accomplished nothing but degrading America. It would have been better to not sent a gun boat and kept off the phone, for it only bred contempt, as Vladamir Putin threw out 1000 intelligence agents who were apparently sent in to make covert war in Russia to have Vladamir Putin dragged through the streets in another policy of assassination which is the mark of Nobel Obama.
If Mr. Obama Jinn has done this degradation to America it is a criminal act of derelection of duty. If Mr. Obama Jinn has done this deliberately, it is the act of a foreign agent in sabotage. In both case, Mr. Obama Jinn has placed America in absolutely jeopardy and now the world.
Vladamir Putin is a winner. He is a man who does manly things with horses, leopards and guns. He draws people to him like Crimea as they desire leadership.
The image of Barack Obama is affirmative action in everything handed to him on the work of others. He is a priss who does fag things like beach walks, golf, ipads and parties. He makes people want to be away from him as they recognize the Obama Abyss now.
Barack Obama has been busy in successfully balkanizing the world. Vladamir Putin has initiated uniting the world from keeping Syria intact and now Crimea returning to the Russia who she has for all her existence been Russian.
Vladamir Putin understands Americans and has been more American born than this foreign birthed Obama.
That is the reality in this.
There is no difference between Americans annexing Texas and California by troop and vote from Mexico than Russians annexing Crimea from the Ukraine by troop and vote.
A foreigner like Obama would not comprehend this in any imagined form. Vladamir Putin and Americans do and that is what sets them apart like George Washington in the Founders would have deemed Crimea a Russian situation and not made on phone call to Moscow concerning it, as it was not an American interest situation.
