If you want a great July 4th movie or movies, go find someone Hollywood crucified in Mel Gibson's work in The Patriot or my favorite in We Were Soldiers Once and Young or something in his being a Commander in Vietnam in winning against all odds.
Or if you are into something gritty and not for children or the July 4th High Day, but is about settling scores, Payback is an entertaining movie.
I do not have to follow Mel Gibson in his Latin Mass as he does not mandate me to. He was shattered by Hollywood in a conspiracy for making the Passion of Mel Gibson. I will defend him as an American, as like John Wayne, he at least tried to portray products for Americans to the world to emulate.
