I was gung ho foolish in asking God to be one of His Prophets long ago. Seeking glory, I soon enough found that God has a different view of things in the people do not follow you to their safety and they do not appreciate what you do, instead they mock you and try to assassinate you.
Jeremiah 42:6; Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.
People always are promising to obey God when the word comes to them, but when the word comes, they balk 10 out of 10 times.
I recall the first time I was supposed to tell someone they were to stop being evil, and it was something I did not want to do. I asked God several times, and He kept informing me to do it, so I did it much to my chagrin. I obeyed, but it was not in my interest to do it. I did it anyway as I learned that rejecting God was worse than the worse situation I was in.
St. Paul was thrown into prison to be executed. Jeremiah was thrown into a dungeon which was a muddy well where he was left to die. Jesus said that the people murder the Prophets and they do. If you look in the Bible, the Judges for the most part got away with their lives, because they were the most powerful men and the people were terrified of them.
It is what I noted in Samuel showing up in Bethlehem for David in the elders came out terrified wondering why he had come, as when Prophets arrived something was not going to go well for the people.
For a Christian I do not believe any bad things are really bad things. Poverty, being run off your land, being ill, people rejecting you, having set backs, certainly are authored by satan, but they are but conditioning as Paul says for the race all are in, in they with Christ and the Holy Ghost, glean from us a higher creature in the Spirit of God.
I always make the remark in it is easy to be a millionaire sitting in a Church pew, as the Preacher loves your offerings and you never do anything wrong, and you always get smiled at in your BMW, and your nice house never has the police driving by glaring at you.
When you get sick the hospitals love you, when someone dies you always get cards of sympathy, when you call everyone answers.
It is part of the rich in their reward on this earth and their denied a reward in Heaven, because it is all about denying yourself here so Christ will not deny you later.

That quote I use often enough, but it is the reality, for that is what charity, love or checed is in what God requires of all, more than huge donations to charities or Churches, but the actions of caring for another person whether it is taking a shopping cart back for someone or being curteous in letting someone go first.

You will be informed now, that if you were not such sinful people and had not given such great place to satan in America, you would not need a trillion dollars to feed the poor, assistance for everything from the poor to babies without fathers, if breaking God's Law had not rooted such a resident evil in you.

The reality is Americans do not obey God and you reject Him.
The above verse in Jeremiah is the result of two divorces made by God to Israel and Judah. Israel in the Lost 10 Tribes which Americans are of, were gone into exile by this time. Judah in the best of Judahites had been taken to Babylon, and a remannt remained under Gedeliah the Babylonian appointed ruler for them.
It was these people who were promising Jeremiah they would obey God. To that, these sheep had a contender arise who assassinated Gedeliah and then kidnapped all the people, to which a remnant was again rescued.
Even the few survivors who claimed they would follow God, just as soon as the weapon of a strong man appeared, they struck into line to save themselves again, and broke their promise to God.

Americans and the western peoples have no justice in the courts, they rob the poor and they do violence at home and around the globe, in worse debauchery of homosexuality and the murder of children in the womb than sodom or in the Days of Noah ever were accomplished, and they whistle in the graveyard in thinking that Judgment will not come.
They do not read the Word of the Lord in Deuteronomy 28, that the curse is already upon them in Judgment has begun and their end will be national death. That is the death of the nation and a remnant of grubbers working the soil for subsistance will be all that remains out of hundreds of millions of sinners wiped out.
National Death is the penalty of a nation not obeying God. The Bible and history is full of such Judgments and realities from God.
I am amused at the hording of gold which will in a nuclear event take on radioactive poisons killing the owners and those who have their e currency......yes just try buying a loaf of bread with a computer chip waving it at a grocery in your saying, "But on this chip it says I have 30 million dollars!!!!!"
