On a happier note

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

On a happier note, I've managed to build a nice set of shelves to make our bedroom closet useable. We used cull lumber (it amazes me what people will throw out), and, albeit with me growling over uneven drywall and weird dimensions, they're up.

I noted the same situation in the metro in the things people had to give away on Craigslist. TL and I thought if we ever got a pickup with a trailer we would slum for a few weeks and pick up about half of what we would need for a house.
I only had Zelda who was piled to the roof in moving back here, but I still kick myself as one house sale had an industrial air compressor of 50 bucks. I instead got the outboard motor with dolly and fuel tank for 50 bucks, after jewing them down from 250.
Living off of what contractors throw away is a great way to find things.

What caught my attention in this update most was the mention of how things are not straight. That is not a singular thing, as my sister happened to mention to me, what her husband noted as a contractor that even most homes he built were 6 inches off. People never realize what a house is really like until the odd jobs start.
I was trying to think of the cure for the roof, but it is as you said Richard, in when the roofers screw up in the metal and cover it over, it is a matter of it needing to be redone. The best that can be done is to carefully take out the section, not harming the other shingles, and then fixing it, and replacing those shingles, with enough tar to hold them fast. The gorilla roofing felt is the way to go in undersealing and along the edges by the gutters.

In the south, they just do not build anything worth a damn. I was watching Mexicans tear into this roof by TL's and one was chopping away at a 2 by 4 and I could not figure out what the hell he was up to, and next thing I knew, he was putting it on the rafter as a support. No that was not code, and it was put into place with a roofing nail gun, so it would hold nothing, but the plywood went over it, and so did the shingles and on went the beaners owned by the white contractor.
I keep frowning at Mom's roof in knowing that is going to need something. The plan for future is using metal roofing with rigid insulation, so it never has to be done again. The shed we are finishing when it is above Arctic cold is a good teaching project for tinning things and how to put in screws.

For apple cider vinegar, it was a Texas concoction I read about which is what was sort of a soda back in the day. It was ACV, with 1/8  teaspoon of soda in a glass of cold water.....made bubbles, but it was really good for stomach and intestinal problems. The soda neutralizes the acid to not harm enamel on the teeth.

ACV changes the environment in which things live, like soda or salts. I would be extra careful around eyelids though as even with vaseline to secure it, it is two things eyes do not like. I am balking over some moles TL has on TL's face which are going to come off sooner than later. It works great, but it also has pink mark as you know that takes a few months to fade. Still amazes me that the fungal agent which makes moles can be killed so easily by ACV and nothing else but freezing or burning will do it.
It is just a point of roughing up the surface of the mole to make certain the ACV penetrates it.....yes it also stings.

This site Earth Clinic is really interesting as the Asia guy on it, Ted I think his name was, answered a number of questions and they were utilizing things for cures no one would dream of. Has other ACV uses too.

I am about out of time as I have to get sourdough out of oven, them milk Mother Marie, as we had to make emergency trip to town for cow milk, (whole) as the goatikins were..........well they are eating like a 7 year famine now in recovery and raising hell non stop, which is all good. In about an hour they will be outside where I will be dousing them with ACV on the ears and stuff to hopefully get that ringworm gone forever.

To keep my focus and insanity, I have been dreaming of adventures in making predator lures and trying to prepare on making a run at the coyotes here when the ground thaws a bit. I do not intend to allow them to murder hosts of baby deer this year, nor to allow them access to killing things here this summer. It is great fun in revisiting this group of trappers. The old boys are all gone now or crabbed up, and the youngsters are grasping for ideas in not yet understanding things, even though they have it all before them.
I will have no more repeats of predators eating Mama ducks or chickens on the nest......even if I have no female poultry left. Just two half breed Muscovy drakes......on I do have two hen turkeys I need a jake for when the weather thaws out.
There are few things more therapeutic than shooting a predator, catching a predator and knocking it over the head or running over a predator for road kill.......although they do not build Ford's like they used to for such activities. I intend to have a great deal of therapy and to rectify these idiots I live among who have been doing nothing but educating these varmints in my absence.

If people want a great hobby, they should all get shotguns with BB lead shot or high powered rifles with scopes, get an electronic caller..........go out to the country about sunset and listen of coyotes raising hell. Then find the landowner, get permission, and the next night set up an invitation and kill those murderers being raised by the cartel to destroy the free peoples of this world in their food supply and at last, their own persons.

I want to say thank you to those who did donate. It was and is appreciated. Not one penny is wasted as I am someone who saves and who ............well if it is a glass dish or a cast iron pan, the metal wins as glass breaks. I am so frugal that.....I make my own quart tin cups out of cans and I drink from them.

I gotta jet........sorry but the bread is not very inviting when it is black and smoking.

People should have figured that out in Obama, in his being dark and smoking certainly was a warning sign like burned food. Even the image up in smoke was not a good replacement idea.........like burned up vittles.
