Merry Christmas from the Orphan GIrl

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

It is December 6th as I am move to compose this, as my Bible reading is in the Psalms this morning and a verse I never took notice of before. It is a verse with both sadness and hope in our current situation of me being orphaned and without a home.

Most people know the verse of God counting the numbers of hairs upon your head, and knows when a sparrow falls, but King David gives another interesting insight into God, in the most perfect Being of all, allows birds to rear their young in His Tabernacle, even upon His Altar.
That is fascinating into the insights of the kindness of the Levites and Priests, as birds rearing young are not exactly clean. I know people who make perpetual war on birds nesting on houses and in garages, but here is God and His priesthood, providing place for the birds.

In that, the Temple and Tabernacle, must have been a pretty place, for more than singers and instrument, there must have always been  the rush of wings, the chirp of fledglings and the singing of the birds which filled the places.

It is the promise that God provides in His Holy Places for birds, that God will provide a home for you. That is the hope in this for me and for all in  that Promise and the knowing as David relates in the next verse that all are empowered  who are dwelling with God.

Psalm 84:3

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

I know the problems I have. You know the problems you have and God knows all of our problems. That is why the Holy Ghost brought to mind the lament of Christ in not being provided for after serving the people, that he did not even have a place to lay His  head, but a fox was provided a home of their own.

Matthew 8:20

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Yes the birds had nests, and the Heavenly Father provided His Own Temple for them, but for His Son, a different testimony was that ministry.

In this Advent season, we know the birth of the Savior, Jesus the Christ.

Luke 2:7

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

The word manger only appears three times in the Bible, and all three are in Luke. Jesus in the most important mission for humanity, was not given place in this world and was instead as the Bread of Life, wrapped in mourning cloth and placed in a manger for animal fodder.

God provides for  the birds, but God put it before people to provide for His Son. The Gospels account that if it were not for the donations of the few, Jesus  would have been more than homeless. He would have not needed to be crucified, but would have starved.

Mark 15:40 - 41

There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

(Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.

Luke 8:3

And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

This is one of the hidden lessons in Scripture which I was even not aware of until today in it is obvious in God can provide all, but even for His Son, God the Father, put it upon the world to provide for Him, as that was the responsibility of each person.

The example of it all is God gives a home to the birds, even in His Holy Places, to teach and convict people who think they are above it all. When Christ died, it was one rich man, not a thousand who paid for His funeral. The Sanhedrin gained the world, but lost their souls for not putting their religion where their mouth is.

This is the Christmas message I was given to compose. It is not Linus in Charlie Brown with that great beautiful historical account, but the reality that Jesus was like Elijah in the wilderness, like the man beaten and saved by one Good Samaritan, in He was poor, homeless and His earthly father, Joseph had died before His ministry began. The responibility fell to others to care for Him and most did not, just as most are not caring for the least of these, whom  Christ represents every day, for if the rich take care of the least, they are showing they care for Christ.

All Glory to God for a Christmas message which is the reality and the truth of the Gospel of Christ.

Merry Christmas and may the Lord return quickly for His Faithful, in Jesus Name Amen and Amen

Romans 13:10

Caring for others produces no ill to their neighbour: therefore providing for others is the fulfilling of the law.
