I have never understood why God decided to fudge history, and not include Assyria as the list of empires, as in the Prophet Daniel, God listed Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome, as the empires of the world, when Assyria was in fact the first empire,a nd God judged it and removed it.
Inside of me, there has always been great admiration, for the Assyrians. If you desire to behold the modern Assyrian, you can find their descendants, the most resilient perpetual Semite race next to the God blessed Samarians led by Joseph, or the modern Americans. But this is not about Americans, this is about Germans, who are the children of Assyria, by exiled migration, like Americans.
The historical Truth is the Germans followed the pioneers of the Samarian Lost 10 Tribes. Their name Germani, is actually a Lost 10 tribe name, and the Germans moved into that area which the Romans knew Germani lived.
The Saxon is the Sons of Isaac or American branch. The Saxson or Sachs Son, or Sons of the Sword are the Assyrian branch, of Semitic peoples, both descendants of Shem of the Bible, one of the 3 sons of Noah.
Now that this is settled, we can admire the people that God sent Jonah to warn of their destruction. They are a most handsome people as Germans are now. Athletic, gifted, and who can not love people who not only ride horses, but have the prowess to turn them into weapons of war.
Is a notable fact that the German and American races both were most skilled as cavalry warriors.
The Assyrians though were most gifted in conquering peoples. For those think the Nazi's were a bit holocaust, the reality is being Lutherans tamed the Germans extensively. For example, when the Assyrian Germans conquered the Samarian Americans, the Germans creatively skinned the Lost 10 alive, ripped open pregnant women, and crucified for days the Lost 10 leadership.
The Bible relates that God used the Assyrians to punish the Israelite Americans for rejecting God in wiping out 90% of the population.
The Assyrians though did keep in that 10% alive the Israelite cavalry, as everyone likes ponies and can see the wonderful use of lightning warfare to subdue enemies. For years, an Israelite cavalry wing projected and defended the Assyrian empire.
After the Assyrians had served God's purpose in punishing His wayward Americans, God repaid the Assyrians, in giving them to the most wonderful Babylonians. I will not go into detail here, as this is about the absolutely ass brain propaganda of the Climate Change asstards, who blame a century long drought for ending Assyria, and not the reality, of God's Plan.
Assyria was a carnivore and cannibal people. Unlike Rome which conquered peoples, and left them to worship whatever and live on their farms producing coin for Caesar. The Assyrians hauled entire populations away, resettled them and put foreigners on their lands. That is why in the Bible the Jews hated Samaritans with a T, because they were not Samarians, but foreigners.
It certainly broke most populations to never be a problem again.
It did enrich Assyria a great deal in preying on other nations. Assyria was not an empire of conquest alone. Assyria was built, and pioneered irrigation. Yes they too the waters of the great rivers, and made the desert bloom.

Drought has little affect on irrigated lands, especially as the waters of Mesopotamia come from Turkey in those lovely mountains, where the Hittites were building their own powerful kingdom. The rivers remained, and if the people did not remain, it meant they were removed, and that means another power had appeared, negating Assyrian power. Take away Assyrian military power, and the people are not protected to go farming and trading, and thus Assyria becomes unoccupied.
One little note in this, the Bible states that the Lost 10 tribes discovered a breach in the mountains north of Iraq, an unknown mountain pass, and the Lost 10 escaped to freedom in the Caucasus Mountains, and spilled into Asia, becoming known as evolving peoples like the Khumri (children of King Omri of Israel), Samartians and Sythians, as God sifted and lost them, so no one knew who they were.
Now why would I be informing you of this? It is a question of what would happen to the United States, Russia or China if suddenly one night, their entire Air Force disappeared? Would not that be a problem for Assyria, if suddenly their entire horse cavalry disappeared, and Babylon had all those horse chariots or tanks, and Assyria had nothing to counter act them, as one can not pull horses out of the magic hat?
