Secure Tether

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

So I have this Tracfone and like all Tracfones you can't use it as a hot spot, which is really a criminal thing, considering if you needed it in an emergency, and died, they should be libel, along with all the other carriers.

So after having success with Google Aps in installing a security cam, I decided it was time to try and fix the Tracfone, as after all I had great success in Bluetooth transfer of contact lists from one phone to the other.

Yeah, so the ap that I was told to use on the Tracfone, is no longer available, so I started searching for aps in Google on the Tracfone, which goes against all my rules in activating that spy thing, but I found one called SecureTether, and everyone was raving about it, so I clicked and got it and started following the set up.

Yeah, I don't have Bluetooth on this laptop and that is where this started in trouble, as I started to set up a Bluetooth, and it would not recognize anything, including shutting down my orignal hot spot.

So back to SecureTether and they have a Wifi ap, so I humped on over and took awhile, but got it downloaded and started installing, and that is where the shit hit the fan.

This is like the mother of all aps, in it wipes out all the competition. As I had Bluetooth hooked up these phones to transfer contact data which needed permission, somehow this thing got into the originnal cell phone. Next thing I knew, after I said "Piss on this" or some other phrase, we were sitting here, and the original hot spot, started turning off, and it just did not turn off, it almost froze, as if something would not let it go. Reboot, the hotspot would work for a few minutes then unhook us.

So I grab the Tracfone, WHICH IS OFF, and walk down the drive and it is cold, stand there in the wind, to make sure that this is not interacting with our original phone, and I start removing all this SecureTether, and when I try to shut off Google Aps, it refuses...........so I go in back door in Aps in the icons, and nuke everything from there.

Meanwhile I shut my computer off as I have no idea what is going on, and TL leaves TL's on and no problem in staying hooked up. I fire up this laptop, as I can not find the original Bluetooth tether even on, and the computer runs all night just fine.

This morning, we had an update from Samsung a month ago, and when we do the hot spot, it keeps asking about things for a month.........this morning, no more questions about things.

I know SecureTether works. I never got to the point of linking up on Tracfone though, because something appears to have hijacked everything. Whether it is was an NSA ap or a FBI Stingray grab, there was a battle taking place and SecureTether was nuking everything in dominating the situation. I'm not blaming the program, but wondering what else was in operation as there really is not any reason that this thing should have jumped and hijacked the orginal hot spot, because it did not have permission in password or any manual set up. It simply started grabbing signal like a coyote coming off a 7 year famine.
Look I know a good deal about computers. I am not a Richard though in that genius category. There are things always taking place on my stuff though, which indicate other things are going on. I still may try to load this again in isolation, perhaps on a system that I am not doing all my work on as a trial and not have another space of my time ruined in frustration in just trying to cope with a pandemic emergency.

The reality is, the two Samsung phones were communicating even with the one being off. Yeah they do that and they also change settings in phones, or dominate one phone over the other if SecureTether is there.

This once again, is another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
