The Lightest Pasta of All
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
I wanted to share a recipe which is one of my favorites for summer. It goes with everything from brats to steak, and what I like about it, it is so refreshing, light and cleansing.
I have no name for it, so call it Glorified Cherry, but all it is, is a pint of whipping cream, vanilla, and a cup of sugar, whipped to a stiff whipping cream, almost butter.
One box of prepared Acini Di Pepe.
A bunch of grapes. I use green grapes.
Mix it all up, and that is it. We had this tonight with brats and fresh broccoli out of the garden. It will appear with grilled hamburgers. This stuff will last about 5 days. I do not add oranges as they sour and I do not want the cream soured any sooner than it will.
Our routine in summer is potato salad, some kinds of pasta salads like a pea, ham and cheese, glorified rice and this acini. Unfortunately summer is about over after we get through with the salad rotation.
First time I had Acini is when my cousin made some salad with it. I have been a fan of the little BB's ever since.
Any way these salads about get me topped off, so I can go back to deep fried potatoes and things for winter.....and I always like desert tasting courses better than spiced courses.
Once again, another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
