The Holy Ghost has been directing me to my Psalm, 91, these past weeks, and I was moved to study the Words in the Message Bible. When you study different references, complete meanings of the Word are shown.
In Psalm 91, God promises a great deal of protection, but when you sit down in the Father's presence, when you sleep in the shadow of thee God in Whom all things are possible, there is a reality, a COMMAND in Pslam 91, to SAY THIS.
You then READ THE PSALM and comprehend your part, that your saying things, is your PROCLAIMING THINGS, MAKING CONFESSION, STATING FOR FACT of what your relationship with God is in detail.
Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty
91 1 You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow, 2 Say this: "God, you're my refuge. I trust in you and I'm safe!" 3 That's right - he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. 4 His huge outstretched arms protect you - under them you're perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm. 5 Fear nothing - not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, 6 Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. 7 Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you. 8 You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.
9 Yes, because God's your refuge, the High God your very own home, 10 Evil can't get close to you, harm can't get through the door. 11 He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. 12 If you stumble, they'll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling. 13 You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path. 14 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God, "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust me. 15 Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times; I'll rescue you, then throw you a party. 16 I'll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!"
So you Name God as your REFUGE. You confess that you TRUST GOD, and the result is, YOU ARE SAFE. Sounds too simple, but it is the same thing as swearing an oath in court or signing your name to your IRS taxes. You got to do it, or nothing you do is valid. You validate by stating the facts and stating those facts, manifests God's Blessings upon you. All you have to do is get to know God, or obey His Commandments and Adhere to Jesus as Your only Savior, and all of these realities manifest, as certain as planting seeds in a garden. Plant the profession of words and those words in God, start moving mountains immediately.
