In the late 1970's, CBS produced a Jan Michael Vincent program called Air Wolf, a jet powered helicopter, but in 2022, Sikorsky with Boeing will produce the Defiant X, which is real Air Wolf.
This twin rotor with a tail push stabilizer will fly almost 300 miles per hour. It is more maneuverable, will carry 4 ton payloads and has a range of 740 miles.
The Huey or Bell Iroquis from the Vietnam era, would fly 125 miles per hour, range 315 miles, and like a horse and buggy compared to the Defiant. Then again the Blackhawk is like a steam engine compared to the rocket this new weapon of war is.
This is simply an most amazing tool. It flies by wire, or it flies without cables and reacts to the pilots motions. With spare fuel tanks I would suspect this is a 1500 mile aircraft. Leave the obsolete systems home and arm this was pulse and lasers, and this thing would really shatter battlefield lines.
