I just am relating things as I see them.
We were getting ready to head home from Grandpa's place, when I noticed two jets pacing each other in the sky on November 29th. It was approaching twilight and I noticed that Venus was in the sky.
My eyes due to a past injury, a medical condition and doing this blog have degraded. Sometimes I have problems focusing both eyes. So when I saw a beam of light coming out of Venus at a 30 degree angle downward to the southwest, I think, "Am I seeing this?"
So I run to the house and tell TL to come out and ask if I'm seeing what I'm seeing. TL confirms that Venus has a tail.
Venus does not have a tail. Venus does not have a moon. Venus does not have a companion.
Due to illumination, Venus is the misplaced Bright Morning and Evening Star because it is close and it's illumination is brighter than Dawn of Twilight.
It was sometime later that whatever Saturn or Mars appeared to the east at the zenith of the sky. That illumination laws of science are important, because this could not be another planet aligned with Venus in behind the planet, because it would not be bright enough to be seen.
As darkness overcame the sky and Venus became large and bright, it absorbed the tail.
I have had an entire autumn to watch the stars and planets. Venus has been in a lovely dance with two stars forming a triangle. I have watched Venus since my youth and Venus does not have a tail. Yet I saw a tail tonight, and TL confirmed it.
The only explanation is that something was there, a real something.
This real something, just so we are on the same page, Venus is the size of earth. This thing was not Venus sized but astronomers are always talking about objects the size of a mountain ending life on earth......well this was bigger than a mountain. This was Iceland size in the scheme of things. Somewhere between earth and Venus is something larger than a bread box and this moon sized object is a consort of Venus.
More of interest in this is, why are the 1% not terrifying us all the way they endlessly tell us big things are out there going to wipe us all out.
