As one can see there are larger producers than Russia, America and Ukaine. The problem with the largest producers in China and India is that they eat all of their food and have to import food.
Remove Russian fertilizer output as much as chaos without food production, and it is not a matter of food shortages, but there not being any food.
That means starvation in Indonesia, Africa and the Mideast. Disrupt Russia, American and Ukrainian production and it will not return in the immediate future. This is a domino effect in once people start starving to death they stay dead. This cascades into dead people do not produce in other areas, and it spirals into an across the board reduction in all things from energy to technology.

Consider for a moment the reality of dead people in context to the energy sector. What if 150 million Americans die? That means they will not be alive to pay electric bills or buy gasoline. An electrical producers is not going to produce electricity at a loss, as a power plant just can not provide power for 1 million customers and ramp it down to 50,000. Power can be increased and decreased in production in a percentage, of 20%, but in order to run turbines there has to be an immense amount of fuel expended. Those are production costs, as much as green wind and solar has maintenance costs.
One can expand this out to your Cheerios. A company is not going to make batches for 50,000 people, no more than than truckers are going to drive 500 miles to get you a box of cereal.
