I used to get major resistance from the mother in my washing used zip lock bags. She is dead now so the resistance has ended, but for what is coming, maybe you children and brats should wash and reuse your plastic bags. At least, wash them store them and enjoy them when there is not any more bags to be had.
You might be surprised how much money this little million dollar knowledge might save you.
Of course I do not save ratty ass meat bags or things that are going to be a problem, but the majority of bags have nothing in them. I just turn them inside out, wash, rinse, hang to dry and stack them up.
PS: I even keep my nasty bags for things like animal glands for trapping, and other things where you do not need a nice clean bag. Am quite green in this, but that is not it at all, as I'm frugal. You have to be when you are raised by people who could not handle money and you trust people to donate for what they are daily consuming in reading what God Inspires to write.
