As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
So like all old chainsaws the air filter on the Poulan began disintegrating. No replacements available of course, but I did find one for 15 dollars. 15 dollars for a 2 by 3 inch piece of foam rubber.
So I looked in the Dollar Store. Nope
Looked in the craft store. Nope. But was told I could drive 50 miles to some tractor supply place that would have it.
Nope.
So went to JYG. He was not home so I rummaged around to see what I could find, and sure enough in some junk car were 3 pieces of foam rubber from a couch cushion.
I took two, took one with me, and put one on the deck so to tell him I was there and to pay him later.
With this now I engineered the air filter as foam rubber is some evil thing like Jan6ers.
This is beyond ridiculous in what they are charging for prices and just evil in how you can not get parts for crap they sold you before.
So the moral of the story is. If you see an old couch cushion. You probably should squirrel it away for foam rubber projects.
