When this blog assessed the capabilities of the new Russian Frigate, Admiral Gorshkov, it projected she would move into the North Atlantic as this is her maiden voyage. Instead she sailed right up the King Charles arse into the English Channel.
So the Russians are challenging the intrigue of the royals who got their royals slaughtered a century ago.
Former Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev threatened last week to sail this ship off the Potomac River. I had again assessed that she would move just over the mid Atlantic and then begin her journey around South Africa, now I am wondering if this ship is going to get a whole lot closer and within missile range.
The Russians are astute enough to know that the FBI has been hunting down half the population after Jan6. No one trusts that ilk in DC, no matter the political party and the majority detests both parties. While I mentioned in satire that the Gorshkov should sail off the Potomac, and then off Florida and fire a missile over Florida, just to prove a point that America will do nothing, and because Americas would feel that someone was kicking their dictators in the gonads. Now I am wondering if the Gorshkov will do a live fire exercise off Washington DC in international waters.
The Russians have given a giant FU to England. Watch what they do for an encore as it appears they are sending messages. Do not think that this ship is done sending messages to NATO, as she is bound for the Mediterranean and that will provide more presence in the NATO flank.
This is more interesting than I had projected. The Russians have taken a step and I no longer believe it will be their last one in this voyage.
