It's very difficult in Soledar right now. The situation there is more difficult than in Bakhmut. The enemy (Russians) attacks in small groups, usually up to 8 people armed with small arms. RPG's and PRO-A Shmel. The attacks on our positions are coming in waves.
The Lame Cherry will not take this apart so you know what is taking place, as this is urbanized and terrain warfare in close combat. The Russian squads are limited to 8 Soldiers. Each group is armed with the AK 47 variant. The RPG is a Rocket Propelled Grenade, which the American army used to blow the hell out of Saddam Hussein's boys in a house. So there is pinning warfare by the small squads which are coordinating, but not grouped up enough to be eliminated by sniper or heavy fire. The PRO-A Shmel is the one which captured my attention, as this is fire bomb that sucks the air out of a building.
The Russians are winning, but the reason they are winning is they have matched the necessity of the battlefield with the exact weaponry which is needed for this kind of bunker, urban warfare combat. It is genius and has never been undertaken in the West.

The old adage was you never attack fixed emplacements without at least a five to one advantage. The Russians instead of these little pocket squads which are attacking everywhere and they are successful. They are driving the Ukrainazi from positions and advancing everywhere, in a HAARP winter which has helped in how nice it is, and they have exhibited what a world class military should look like in combat.
The conscripts of Russia, literally are more than a match for anything that the elite fighting forces of NATO could put up against them. This is old combat, and the reason it is working against HIMARS and other American high tech is, the same way Chinese PLA waves defeated American 105 Howitzers. America is supplying Ukraine with too much gun or firepower for small squad warfare, and the arms America has trained Ukrainazi with, the Ukrainazi is not capable enough to defend a position or out think the Russian attacks.
I will give the Ukrainazi some sympathy in this, as Kiev is letting them die without the support they need in this kind of warfare. It is difficult for a Ukrainazi to hold position in a bunker trench or building, knowing these pocket squads are using cover to close on your position, and then they are going to fire an RPG into the hole you are looking out, kill allot of you, give the survivors the worst headache in the world, and then when the Russians close, they are going to fire in an air sucking bomb that will suffocate you and burn you death. It is hard to give the salute to Kiev when the Russians have shown they have outclassed in conscripts the best NATO could train. Ukrainazi's hear the bangs of AK 47's, the thuds of the RPG's and then that lovely burned human scent drifts over everything as the fire bombs clean out what was a Nazi strongpoint.
The Russian Officers are now threatening the Salt Mine Terrorists that they either surrender or Russia will cement the entrances over and make those mines their terror graves.
What the Russians are accomplishing in Ukraine in these pocket squads, are a human version of drones, but more effective. This should be taught all across the world as it is this game changing.
Thee only response which may work for the Ukrainazi, is the old Imperial Japanese knee mortar. A highly effective short range mortar which was deployed against Americans. On Okinawa, the Japanese massed mortars to cover, again, the small scale American advances, which the Russians are picking up ground by. The Ukrainazi are not Imperial Japanese Soldiers though, and in this situation one has to hav an open venue, and once the Ukrainazi opened up, the Russian heavy artillery would open up in response, ending the salvo.
If the Chinese PLA is paying attention to what Russia has pioneered, they will take Taiwan with infantry and armed as the Russian squads are, and more to the point, all of these invaders that Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden have let into America, constitute millions of a 5th column. If the PLA arms their people with this same firepower, they will do the same thing to all the US cities they are deployed in, that Russia is winning at in Bakhmut.
The Lame Cherry warns that Germany, Italy and France must make peace with Russia, because Russia will defeat what NATO is, because Russia is defeating what NATO is in Ukraine in hand to hand combat.
