Tom Luongo has this idea of what the world is like based in the oil markets, and it is close to how things are, but always remember what Vladimir Putin is doing, is what he is being allowed to perform, as he is just as manipulated by the cartel as all of these other woke trolls.
Putin said “No” to Saudi Arabia to become the de facto leader of OPEC+ by using his lower production costs to get the Saudis to knuckle under and stop playing footsie with the US who was using them as a weapon against Russia and the entire Global South.
This was Putin’s opportunity to finally strike back at Russia’s tormentors and inflict real pain for their unscrupulous behavior in places like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, Venezuela and Afghanistan.
He is now in a position to extract maximum concessions from the U.S. and the OPEC nations who are supporting U.S. belligerence against Russia’s allies in China, Iran and Syria.
We saw the beginnings of this in his dealings with Turkish President Erdogan in Moscow, extracting a ceasefire agreement that was nothing short of a Turkish surrender.
Erdogan asked to be saved from his own stupidity and Russia said, “No.”
This is where Luongo gets it wrong. This is not some east vs west thing. Don't think that OPEC in the Saudi's is not as big of shell game as when Ronald Reagan used them to bring down the Soviets. All that Saudi money is in America and the West. They are not going to collapse the West and cuddle up to Russia and China who will cut their throats or allow their people to cut their throats. There is more intrigue in this than a whorehouse full of pimps.
As you read this below, just remember that Germany is sucking America dry of natural gas. Just remember those treacherous Norwegians in this "climate change bullshit" is moving to drill more oil than Saudi Arabia up in the Arctic. They are after the Russian concessions. Europe moved north for oil and gas not south into Libya. Europe has weaned itself from Russia.
Russia is being end games in this. The end game is to give them money now to run their war machine to being degraded in Ukraine, and entice that machine to some adventurism. It is all about over extending China and Russia, just the way Germany and Japan got over extended in the second world war.
The cartel does not want the producers brought to heel yet.
This was the turning point in the oil markets. Russia used its position as the supplier of the marginal barrel to force OPEC to heel and put pressure on US neocon foreign policy.
Of course Europe would cut itself off from Russia, since it’s been their stated policy for decades, c.f. the Climate Change Hoax. But if you do that and don’t bring the producers to heel, if you don’t break the cartel you can’t control the price.
You're going to find in this, that you are the same target as Russia and China, actually you are more of a threat and that is why so much is being invested in robbing you into slavery, just as Robert Kennedy said about destroying the middle class. Inflation is coming, inflation on you and profits for Russia, until both of you are brought to the status.
