The skirty that runs the US Army was feeling talkative recently and oozing unctions about making war with China. She laid out the entire United States offensive plan which was a nice assistance to Peking in what to prepare for.
What the Lame Cherry engages in is projections and analysis. There is not any great secret in intelligence and security white papers or action files. What is required is to put yourself in the enemy's position and ask, "What would Peking do?, in order to formulate an order of battle.
What has puzzled me most has been the US Marines and these other uniform wearers thinking that China will be just like Japan in World War II. That does not seem logical in China would fight on the water and rely on island defensive rings as that was a losing strategy. Yet this is what the US is projecting and Skirty was quite involved in dumping and deploying billions of dollars of munitions into the Pacific again in "forward" bases.

Wormuth’s plan would involve sending more troops and advanced weapons into the region, including hypersonic missiles. She said the buildup would be an effort to deter war with China, although Beijing has been increasing its military activity in the region in response to US actions.
Wormuth laid out three ways the US Army would work to build up forces in the region. First, by increasing cooperation with allies, which she said would "complicate" Beijing’s decision-making. Second, the Army will establish "theater distribution centers" to pre-position weapons and other supplies in the region.
She listed Australia and Japan as two places where weapons could be staged and said non-lethal equipment might be stored in the Philippines and Singapore. The third aspect of the plan would be to place more visible combat forces in the region. "Our goal is to have Army forces in the Indo-Pacific seven to eight months out of the year," Wormuth said.
When war breaks out in the region, Wormuth said the Army’s role would be to establish "staging bases for the Navy, for the Marines, for the Air Force" and to "provide intra-theater sustainment" using the weapons stockpiles and watercraft. She said the US Army would also have a role to play in the American homeland.
"If we got into a major war with China, the United States homeland would be at risk as well, with both kinetic attacks and non-kinetic attacks. Whether it’s cyberattacks on the power grids, or on pipelines, the United States Army, I have no doubt, will be called to provide defense support to civil authorities," she said.
China has already been signaling what it will engage in, in war. It's blimpy spy satellites have been gathering intelligence on US facilities which are nuclear on the mainland, and on Hawaii, in order to use non nuclear hypersonic weapons, along with 5th column attacks in America.
The Lame Cherry has no doubt that China will attack the US forward bases, as Japan did, but it will be with these hypersonic missiles which will kill all the soldiers on base and explode most of the munitions, in a China first strike.

China will by hypersonics attempt to wipe out ever US attack submarine and nuclear submarine, along with their bases. The landing China would make would be "tourists" moved into Hawaii, and not concern themselves with Taiwan. North Korea would seize the opportunity with artillery to obliterate South Korea as an America operational base. Russia would move on the Japanese Kuril islands.
