The F 16 phase is not a reaction to what Russia is engaged in. This order of the battle is something which has been planned for years. Before Minsk was signed in the peace accords, it was a known operational trigger, that once Kiev failed and NATO defenses were overcome, once the counter offensive was unleashed and used up, the F 16's would appear on the battlefield.
The F 16's are now obvious to be used to inflict as much damage on Russian positions. This is about Russian attrition, in order to trigger the next Russian aggression, which will be met with the next NATO expansion of this war.
