Everyone uses the world Armageddon with great terror, but only the Lame Cherry will show you the road to the Plains of Sharon which is what Har Megiddo guards on the south.
If you look at history, there are two centers of activity in Eurasia, West and East. All roads in the West center on Alleppo Syria. All roads in the east center on Bagram Afghanistan.
Once through the slot of Aghanistan an eastern army will have to traverse in north Iran by the Caspian, before spilling out to the north Baghdad plains, or the first empire in the world in Assyria.
Then it is on to north Syria to the city of Alleppo. Reverse the routes south, north and west, from Egypt, Turkey and Russia, and you have the Alleppo highway, which runs directly joining to the heart of the Roman Empire.
When this gathering comes by God, it will be this route. This is the road to Armageddon. The eastern, western and northern armies will turn south to the Valley of Sharon. The southern armies will turn north on the Pharaoh invasion route. They will meet on that great plain and there they will do battle and be slaughtered, with people burying human bones for centuries.
