This project started during the last few days that I could pull anything home from JYG's as the HAARP winter was deadly.
I had been so impressed with the JYG's creation of a wood wagon for us, for 200 dollars, that I wanted to get another one, as one wood wagon is good, while two is very prudent.
JYG's homemade trailer is much heavier than the one I got from Judas Priest, via JYG. It was again 200 dollars, but it did not have a topper. Instead it had on some heavy wood box that the designer thought he could take down. It was not a good design and it weighed like 350 pounds which defeats a small wagon like this, as you can not pile up anything that high on a modern pick up box as it is too top heavy and heavy. JYG's bent the ball on my hitch and I had to pull it home slow as it rocked back and forth.
JYG fortunately had another junk topper which he nicely sold me for 20 dollars. It had the back door window gone, one side window is gone and one of the black windows has been cracked with some pieces missing. It is a fix that is doable with some flat tin on hinges on the back, find a 4 x 20 or whatever side window and I am going to look if there are some kind of replacements somewhere. I can get as winter rain and blizzard snows get things wet.
I can use this for grain storage or as a home away from home.
As I have acquired a spray painter, am considering if I have time, I will try and paint this a colour pattern which is neutral. I have been noticing how bizarre God made things to disappear. I lose animals around here in plain sight a great deal of the time, and they have base colour patterns. I do not want a shining aluminum top glinting off the sun and even white does not look right in snow, and square things stick out like sore thumbs.
What is your solution as even horses and steers can pull mine.
