What do you mean that is 144,000 SEALED and not 144,000 seals?

It is interesting in what Nathaniel opened up with his comment on the 144,000. I will admit that I did not invest time into who this group is, as it did not matter to me. What was of further interest in this though was PB was discussing this with a female friend who quoted 1 Thessalonians 1:10 in the verse about Jesus has saved us all from the wrath of God not just the 144,000.
If you read the verses below you will find these 144,000 recorded in two parts. They are virgins for one thing, the First Fruits, and they are on earth now, just as the anti Christ is, if this is the End Times.
They appear later in Heaven before God with a special place. We do not know if they are translated as Enoch was or if they are martyrs being murdered with the hosts of other dead Faithful that St. John witnesses.
We do know though that these are special Faithful. I would think of them like the Virgin Mary in being special. For those of you who are gardeners, you have fruit trees or vine crops, and you know each year that there is a really good quality in only a perfect few. That is who these 144,000 are. They simply developed the best Spiritually. In that though, that does not mean that you throw out the rest of your peaches or tomatoes as they are all good. Even an ugly peach tastes good, so God does not throw out any Faithful person.

And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb
For God's Wrath, there is also Judgment linked to it. For those who think that Jesus saying because we are His that the Wrath of God is not upon us, that is being slightly flat brain, as the Wrath is upon the world and those in it, and as we are on this planet and the people who are going to have that Wrath poured out are among us in majority, we may not get the fire and brimstone on us, but we may be like Lot in hiding in a cave.
Jeremiah was special, so special that he was known before or consecrated in the womb. As I have pointed out before, by God's Inspiration, Jeremiah was still hunted, still had powerful people trying to murder him, was thrown in a sewer to die, and got kidnapped with others, before he was sent on his mission to Ireland to transplant the throne of David there into the House of Israel. Jeremiah did not have any wrath directed at him, but he did not have a pleasant time, no more than Ezekiel did.
God is God and none can take His Place. We are all in this together. It is as our friend from Texas, JW, just wrote with marriage good will for us and stating he is setting out Ukraine and Israel as it is horrid what is being done. I think of JW as he is Jewish and I'm very thankful for him and his wife, because I go out of my way to offend people who should be offended, and yet JW when he reads the blog knows I"m not talking about him or others who are good moral people. I do not invest any time in the hard questions of what God does to who. My business is first serving God and focusing on what I'm supposed to be doing to grow in Spirit. I may inform God that I really do not like what those English Normans are up to and can not see how they can be ignored, but in that too, I know that I do not want my American name ruined by those in the District of Criminals. We are going to have to have horrid things going on, as that is what is part of the End Times. God orders us to separate out, "Come out of her my people from Babylon", that means the world system, which we have to live in, but we also only observe the laws to not make troubles for ourselves.
The Gospel delivers us from Wrath and Judgment, but it is also a virtue of reality the teaching that "good works alone do not save people", and also, charity or caring for others covers up a multitude of sins. Yes Faith is God's Promise of Salvation is what is required of all, but being kind to others is always noted by God and it has the same benefits of dealing with horrid parents in a Christian Way, as the reward there is that it may be well with thee and that thou mayest live long on the earth.
I never have been much of a crowd or group person. I mean no disrespect to God, but singing a special song and being in a special group is not something that appeals to me. Yes I would do it if God said, but I'm more of a making camp under a willow tree, with a stream flowing on the prairie with all the animals I have been owned by or I have eaten enjoying themselves. I do not think much of that 200 mile cube New Jerusalem either as I'm not a city person. If that is all there is, I will shut my mouth and thank God, but I'm a person of the fields and as long as Jesus saves me, that is all the honour I ever want as I'm not interested in ruling or being set above others. I think like in 10 million years when everyone is done meeting George Washington, I would like to do something George Washington in chase some fox on horses, but I think the reason God has me here doing what I do is that I shun celebrity and it has no appeal for me. I respect everyone and treat them the best I can.
I know 12,000 virgins are American and in this 144,000. I praise God for them and that He has some very special Faithful to adore Him as He should be adored. It appears that they will not see the end though. My intention is to see this to the end as I'm not a quitter. Not because I have fear of being a martyr, but a host is going to be caught up to Jesus and as I'm the Holy Ghost's property that is probably my place.
As I mentioned to Richard and Stephanie, God is fixing broken vehicles and God is going to provide a washing machine, that means for long enough we will have electric and gasoline. That is where my focus is as I have done enough suffering. Someday rich people will donate to the blog and fulfill that mission on their part and I will keep moving daily by the left flank.
Today's adventure as that God loves me. His Holy Ghost Inspired me to mount a ball hitch on a front loader bucket so that I can fix that horse trailer as I need it. See God is looking out for me and for you. When you have rich people, scared and holding on to money, you have to be a God Who talks to His child and tells them how to fix things and do things, as I had no idea that this would work, just Faith.
God already has the 144,000 solved. My focus is on getting the things I have to get done tomorrow so that I will have time for posting things God is sending out as a message to my children and my brats.
