I will issue a disclaimer in this, as I do now own one of these at this writing, but as in all things JYG, I pay attention when he says something works. JYG gets donations by people throwing things away. I wait on people with money to pay for reading this blog and saving their precious lives a hundred times.
These are lithium power packs which will jump start a car and I guess recharge a cell phone. JYG uses his to jump his truck.........real truck not a pick up and other vehicles and he was amazed enough about it that he brought it up to my attention twice. I witnessed him starting a Mitsubishi small SUV with a dead click battery. It is kind of amazing that something this small, hooked up for about a minute will start an engine.
His is a NAPA Blue Fuel which I looked up and they seem to not be made, although JYG said they were in the store in town here. I plan on checking prices.
Popular Mechanics had a comparison of the various models and listed them. I'm not promoting any of them as I do not know, but offer that PM seems to be honest in comparing items.
These things are about the size of a romance novel. I would think that having two of them would be a good thing for an EMP event, the lights going out, and just having a multiple prong option for how to address a power issue.
Just something to keep in mind for emergencies.
