Corrective Prostrate Surgery without the Surgery

Charles when we go on trips, I always have to stop and pee. I'm the one
up at night and you sleep through. Even on our walks you have manly strides.....

Yeah Babe, it's my Prostrate Artery Embolization making the dif.

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

Paul shared this with me on Thanksgiving and I wanted to post this as there are allot of people who have enlarged prostrates and all doctors do is push pills. I will let Paul summarize this and you can look it up, but it is an option which is really kind of neat in it shrinks the prostrate.

Talking to my vet as he has a bladder/prostate problem and he told
me about a relatively new minimally invasive treatment for enlarged
prostates. Shrinks the prostate by blocking its blood supply. performed
by interventional radiologist. Never mentioned by my urologist.
Two hour out-patient procedure using x-ray imaging to navigate
a catheter tube through arteries, beginning at wrist. Tiny beads are
injected through catheter and into prostate feeding vessels, blocking
blood flow and causing shrinking. 80% to 90% successful. Go home
with band-aid on wrist. That my urologist didn't disclose this as an
option, speaks to the ethics of the medical profession. Profits over
patient care.  No surprise. Urologists want the costly rotor rooter
procedure. They have no shame. Excellent reviews and information
about PAE (prostate artery embolization) on you tube.

So this is a rather effective, and cost effective plumbing fix for men who have the normal aging swelling of the prostate and it is causing problems like bleeding, low stream flow or having to get up all the time at night.

Prostatic artery embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive treatment that helps improve lower urinary tract symptoms caused by a Benign Prostatic ..

Really am thankful to Paul for sharing this as this is one of the marvels of medicine in actually helping patients without the forever prescription and side effects.
