The assassination of John Kennedy in Dallas was not just strange in it's being conducted, but if one reads the personal accounts of those who were there on that day, and in the days that followed, you start reading bizarre things.
The reporters on that day, reported and honestly thought that Vice President Johnson had been shot. There is a live account of a reporter at Parkland Hospital, stating that Vice President Johnson had arrived at Parkland, but had not been injured severely as he walked in under his own power.
There were reports that the Secret Service had been in a firefight in downtown Dallas with the assassin or assassins.
We honestly read in the direct aftermath of the assassination that security in the Secret Service clamped down in Washington DC as Air Force One arrived on that Friday night. Yet by Monday the editor of Newsweek observed this.
I took my children down to Washington on that Monday and the security around the White House was almost non existent. There were huge television trucks, and we had some kind of passes that would let us in to do something, but we didn't even use the passes. We went between two television trucks, with my two older daughters, who were then thirteen and ten, and we walked right up the driveway by the portico, and we stood there and watched as Charles de Gaule and all these characters came marching down, Bobby Kennedy, Jackie etc... There a picture that appeared in National Geographic a few months later and there you can see my little girls peering through the crowd as the caisson went by. That's how lousy the security was in those days.

One paranoid reporter in DC did comment that with all the leaders of the free world there, that this would be the time to strike. Yet the United States Air Force had 40 fighter jets patrolling the air over Washington DC. There is a reality in these events described that seems to be a faction of two sorts at work. One seemed that it did not mind if a few more people ended up dead, while the other was going to make sure that piles of people did not end up dead, as they were the piles of people in charge.
I firmly believe that the stories about LBJ being shot were designed to keep him honest in the deal in the removal of John Kennedy. There does not seem to be a hint of intrigue in Lady Bird Johnson in her memoirs of hinting that she knew anything. In fact, when the shots were fired, the Secret Service saved LBJ and Lady Bird and Senator Yarborough were left to duck and cover on their own.

In a personal account by White House reporter, Nancy Dickerson, she stated that she had been invited with her husband to the Johnson's who were still at the Elms, and not the White House. They arrived. The young Johnson daughter was in a robe and barefoot. She was complaining that her life at the White House was going to be a real gulag as she has little freedom now in Johnson monitoring her boyfriend calls.
Lady Bird appeared, but it seemed she was less than hospitable. LBJ did not appear until later and then during dinner, he would often talk to the television anchors with, "You keep that up and we are going to have a revolution".
It makes one contemplate just what was going on in these people's minds, as LBJ later took the Dickersons into his bedroom, where there were newspapers all over, and he read each one to them, and corrected what was wrong in the content.
In Dallas, the same kind of stand down order seemed to be in operation, as reporters were stunned in how close they were being let to Lee Oswald. How people had access to the police station as that would have never happened in New York.
Yes Jack Ruby or Rubenstine, was allowed to kill the asset of the United States government in Lee Oswald, but in examining what was taking place in other areas, there seemed to be a Ruby platform allowed in those who had completed the assassination operation were allowing the possibility of others to be shot too. For all the cartel generated hype about "domestic terrorists" and "gun control", the fact is that in Dallas 1963, Americans could have lynched Oswald or showered his body with bullets. They could have been in DC and slaughtered more American leaders and a batch of world leaders, but like on January 6th, the only people who had guns were the federal operatives. Americans behaved themselves and when the opportunity arose, none of them took it. Yes they cheered and said "That is what that son of a bitch Oswald deserved", but none of them went into Johnson's revolution.
I ponder if the planners were hoping some nut would have taken out Johnson or some world leaders to divert more attention as the platform had been left open by the Secret Service and other security. An attack on America would not be allowed, but slaying a few more people would have been allowed.
In the end it was all a mute point really, as from the lips of Jackie Kennedy, who at the time after her husbands death, in which she went full bigot against the people of Texas, when she was campaigning for her lover, Bobby Kennedy, brother of the President, while sucking on the penis of actor Paul Newman who was supporting the uber left Eugene McCarthy for the democratic nomination for the presidency, that Jackie Kennedy told Newman, "I don't think my husband was going to win in 1964 anyway against Barry Goldwater."
That mute point though and all the bizarre things which took place in trying to increase the body count, did not matter in the planners who were engaged in the assassination, knew Kennedy would not win. They knew they could swing 50,000 dead voters just as the Kennedy's did to steal an election. No, the execution of John Kennedy was something they would not allow to pass, in Kennedy going into retirement.
For the Jews in Tel Aviv, they could not wait another 2 years for uranium to appear from American nuclear storage for their bombs. For the mafia, this was a betrayal in business in they had kept America running in World War II for Frank Roosevelt, as the Kennedy's had made profits with them, and the Kennedy's had turned on them. The CIA planners were not going to allow JFK to have any more time to dismantle their operations. The military industrial complex has a bottom line of a new Vietnam War to increase funding and they could not do that with Kennedy pulling out of Vietnam, no more than Kennedy not making cold war profits for Europeans living on American socialism
So if Charles de Gaulle was murdered in the process or others, then so much the spoiled of war. A reporter noted that he was alone at the US Capitol and walked down the steps before the Kennedy coffin came down. There was no security of any sort. The doors were left open and no American took the shots.
The assassination of all the Kennedy's from Jack, Robert and John is revulsive, but the linear stories, the fringe stories in what they all mean and all are overlooked are interesting and I would that we would be able to know who ordered these things of leaving the gates open. Those are the small details of history which interest the Lame Cherry.
