This is a warning as some of you reading this are going to be in this position of having been put through hell and then begging for help, none comes. I'm in this hanging on the edge again now. You though are being alerted what will come and when you think help has arrived, it will be ripped away, leaving you for dead.
The date in this insights into civil war in September 13th, 1864 AD in the year of our Lord. Ken Burns in his fiction will never reveal what took place, no more than General William Tecumseh Sherman would admit to what he did in Georgia on that day.
General Sherman had been ordered to destroy the South by marching through Dixie. His stated intent was to so abuse the South that for a 100 years, they would never think of rising up again. There was at that time around 30,000 Americans already in Georgia, at a prison called Andersonville. It was the 4th largest group of people in Georgia at the time.
The men did not have clothes. Roving gangs were robbing and murdering them. Maggots, lice, flies and worms were tormenting them. They had starvation rations. Their hopes were always on the rumored exchanges, but General Grant was not going to trade fat Southern POWs for starving Union Soldiers as the North had more than enough men to use up, and the South had men in short supply, so Northern POWs were left to rot.
The Sanitation Commission sent supplies to the POW's, but the Confederacy used them for themselves. These were men left to rot and die, just as Americans and British bombed train tracks which starved Jews in camps, the Union bombed train tracks and cut of supplies to their own POW's.
When Sherman marched to Atlanta, the hopes were high in the POW's that he would come and liberate them. The Confederates were highly stressed over this as they knew what they had done in abusing the prisoners and this home guard was not keen on coming up against a well trained federal army.
In September though around 800 POW's were marched out to Atlanta to a village called Rough and Ready to be exchanged. On September 13th, 740 of them staggered back into camp in rags.
What the prisoners soon were informed was that General Sherman, had only exchanged those prisoners in his command. While the returnees were fed, no clothing was given for them.
Sherman, Butler and the rest had the fury of the prisoners. Dying 60 to 70 a day, hundreds more would now die as all hope had been taken from them, by the United States Army and United States Government.
The South is blamed rightly for the dead Union prisoners, but the reality is, that three men in the North were responsible for this holocaust in Abraham Lincoln, US Grant and William Sherman. Especially after September 13th, the Union Soldiers who died, were the responsibility of General Sherman. He murdered these men and he knew it, and he never admitted it.
Logistics could be blamed as these Soldiers were not fit for marching. While clothes could have been stolen from Southerners as food was, 30,000 men in dying conditions would have made it impossible for General Sherman to march. By the same reality, General Sherman's command sat in Atlanta for a month. He could have and should have at least given these men a chance bringing them to Atlanta, constructing defenses, laying in supplies and told the men, "You know you are too sick to travel and the best I can do for you is to liberate you, arm you, and give you a chance to die in combat, when the South comes to try and retake Atlanta.
In knowing the Southern commander, General Joseph Johnston, I believe, Sherman could have sent a flag of truce and informed Johnston that Johnston could either expend his army trying to retake Atlanta and be stuck with the problem of more prisoner to feed and guard, or just ignore the situation as the war would soon be over.
That would have been the prudent thing to do, instead of leaving men to die in holocaust camps.
When deprivations come, and society is in meltdown, there are going to be states abandoned as much as regions. Pack people into these metro dictatorships or FEMA camps to care for them and you will get the same disease, plague, death, self predation and holocaust realities of maggots and lice. It does not help that Biden's invading hordes have TB, bed bugs and are predatory vermin themselves, bringing this to the American population.
Help is not going to come. You will believe all these rumors like you believed Trump or Obama. You either by God's Grace do not get into the situation or you will die of sullenness once you find out your earthly saviors have left you to rot.........and have only saved their own kind.
