Good, I can't believe how long it took to get that son of a bitch
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
Black and white photograph of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1957-1959 gathered around a world globe. Photograph signed: "Thomas D. White", "M.D. Taylor", "N.F. Twining", "Arleigh Burke" and "RMcC Pate".
Trophies Presented: In Washington last night -- Vice President Nixon congratulated William M. Allen of Seattle, president of the Boeing Airplane Co., left, and Gen. Nathan Twining, Air Force chief of staff, at the annual Wright dinner after presenting them with trophies for their service to aviation.
Nathan Farragut Twining [October 11, 1897 - March 29, 1982] was a United States Air Force General who served as Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force and was appointed the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He served as Chairman from 1957 to 1960, and was the first member of the Air Force to serve in this role. General Twining graduated from West Point in 1918, and served in the infantry in Europe before he transferred to the Air Service. During the years between the wars he trained and flew fighter aircraft, attended Air Corps Tactical School and Command and General Staff College. In 1942, he served as Chief of Staff of all Allied Air Forces in the South Pacific. In January of 1943, he assumed command of the Thirteenth Air Force and in November of the same year he traveled across the world to take command of the Fifteenth Air Force. Upon the surrender of Germany he returned to the Pacific and commanded the Twentieth Air Force during the dropping of the atomic bomb at Hiroshima.
According to his son, Nathan Twining jr., the son of a bitch referred to was President John Kennedy, on a phone call the General received, to his son's astonishment.
Just remember for all the statements in how much of a patriot John Kennedy was, a host of very powerful people had another judgment of John Kennedy.

And Arch Foe Of Zionist Evil…Will Be Vindicated
To understand General Twining further in his insights, one should read the Kennedy papers in this link in Dr. Hans Bethe, interesting reasoning on nuclear warfare. With the 1961 Soviet tests, there were two opinions on Russian abilities. One was alarmist and the other was Dr. Bethe's assessment, that the Soviets were not an immense threat with their developments.
the implications for our national security is in the extreme
What I found most interesting is at this point in nuclear warfare, the first discussions of small thermo nuclear weapons in size and yield are being researched. Dr. Bethe did not believe in the 200 pound 1 megaton warhead. He was not in favor of above ground weapons in these super sized weapons, due to firestorms and tidal waves.
He did not want nuclear weapons in orbit nor an increase in U 235 production as American supply was enough.
Dr. Bethe was a very sound and well informed mind.
He helped persuade the Kennedy and Nixon administrations to sign, respectively, the 1963 Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (SALT I).
Two American Presidents bucked the military thinking on nuclear warfare, one was shot and the other was framed by the same intelligence operational group.
