I got to thinking about PB's letter about evacuation for Wormwood or something and while I have covered this, am going to post on this as I know far too many of you are just people who can not keep their fingers out of their supplies.
Around America there are things called totes, I have a photo below. I have 4 and intend to get a few more..........25 to 50 bucks.
You wash out the toxins in them and they are wonderful containers to place things in for an evac. They are heavy and get really heavy full, but just imagine if you were Jeff Rense and your Mercedes school bus and had a trailer.......like a horse trailer and you had either that trailer loaded with these totes or a skid steer to load a few in. To be complete, I would think one for clothes and blankets, one for food and one for water..........250 gallons of water so you have a 3 month drinking supply if you had to evac from the Wormwood backwash.
Yes it will take a little engineering to make a lid on the top to seal and close, but that is what doors are for. There would not be any need to go dashing around in a frenzy, as you were already packed for a future event and if something happened like Wormwood, you would load up and go before the chimps chimped out.
These things are waterproof if sealed, will hold water, and that means no vermin from mice to bears can get in that easy to eat your food.
These are wonderful items and no one mentions them because all of these CIA prepper sites are too busy hawking freeze dried food and vitamins as none of these assholes has ever spent a week in the dark trying to survive in the real world.
Just remember these things will work to keep your stuff dry in a deluge until you get back........as yes the best place after a deluge is to go back where your nativity is, as this will be home and your comfort zone. Be things to come back to.
Just remember to pack your chainsaw, chains and some kind of winch to get shit off the road, along with filling up washouts.
Here is a reality, you will have to mark time, because it will probably be around 40 days before you can think about going home, to allow for the ground to dry, the dead to decompose and things to come alive again and for wandering survivors to die.
Once home, you will have to build your block house compound to hide in, and to assess what is left for salvage and that includes all the dead, as they are not coming back.
This then would allow the reverse of the pre Wormwood, meaning the threat is people chimping out before. The civilization will then be in the survivor location, and your getting away from them, will open the flood plain back up to you, as the only person there.
Last note.......do not allow some Goddamn college kid park ranger to become dictator to you. Drive down the road and be free as these diploma turds are going to be all anal thinking they have to enforce things in a country which has ceased.
Go home when it is time and be king or queen.
