As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
A few years ago the Thrift Store had these plants, so I picked up a waxy leafed succulent which turned out to be a Kalocheo, and Kali has been doing great ever since, with just watering. She is in the middle, loves Grandpa's window to the east and will be blooming by the time you read this.
I liked her so much, that we splurged and got an orange and yellow pot plants which are interesting in the yellow is reblooming and the orange one is kind of steady.
These plants are pretty much weeds and do not take much watering at all, like a cactus. All they need is a period of dark to light, and that is solved at Grandpas as we are never over there at night so they get all the dark they need.
They pretty much root from a cutting and when Kali needs trimming, that will be where her children end up. It amazed me in I think we got her in October and she was really little, and she bloomed that first January.
It is more enjoyable growing African weeds like this as they almost can not be killed, they bloom without effort and you just treat them about like plastic plants.
Always nice to have something alive that is living with dreary outside and in.
