The Russian Navy has taken defensive measures in moving their Black Sea hunter submarines out of dock, in the bay and is cruising others into Crimea from their shipyard in Novorssiysk.
This is due to the DC and London deployments of F 16's, Storm Shadows and HIMARS missiles. Russia was accepting in losing a number of Black Sea surface vessels. It is not going to allow it's hunter submarine fleet to be wiped out.
Some of these vessels are positioned in the main channel of Novorossiysk, situated between 500 meters and 2.5 kilometers from the naval dock entrance. The sailing pattern seems to be a strategic mix of tactical dispersion and overlapping anti-aircraft sectors. “Navy has changed its pattern in Novorossiysk, moving warships from berths in the naval base to positions in the bay. Other ships sailing to Crimea in formation…,” writes H I Sutton on his X account.

This appears to have been a primary target for American F 16's which is Russian ports and land and has nothing to do with Ukraine. There are references that America "lost" a drone in the Black Sea. It indicates that Russia downed the spy platform, as every time American drones appeared, Russia was experiencing losses. Again this is RUSSIA which was being struck and was a prime target in this DC and London escalation.
