As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
This is the saga of the Junk Yard Dog Ford pick up affectionately known as Triton.
Ford Motor Company was woke long ago in globalists and making shit that wears out and things that need a service industry to deal with.
This is about changing oil as all Fords are not the same. Triton is a 2003 which is way different from the 2004 series The book did not match where the auto transmission dipstick was located...........JYG found that on the other side.
As you can see in the video the oil filter is way to hell and gone up under the frame and on the engine. Am pleased the filter was white or I never would have found it after looking for it 4 times.
Meet you on the other side.
Triton has over 250 thousand miles. It was out of oil when we got him. I put in old used tractor oil to run him and to see if the Mexican could keep him running a bit more smooth. For 275 bucks the beaner changed 4 plugs and 4 coils, said injectors were 100 bucks a piece and said "I would not put any money into that pick up".
So we are changing oil.
The oil plug is not as shown online, in the back........it is on the passenger side.
There is I think a half inch of space to move an oil filter wrench on that filter. I was cussing and maneuvering, but it finally got on, and I thought I was seeing things in it moved a quarter of an inch. I did it again and it moved, and came in to post on this, as will get a drain pan to save the oil and then see if I got the right filter for this Triton as the book only went to 2004 when we were in town.
Am grateful there was a limp wristed mechanic who did not tighten this fliter up that much or this would have been more money spent.
So Ford MO CO sucks shit through a paper straw. Obviously no one ever took are of this pick up, so they are kind of tough at 250,000 miles. It is just the saga in circus you have to go through to just change oil. Things you should probably know, but then in a meltdown without gas they will all be lawn ornaments or places vagrants and cats sleep with the mice eating the seats.
