As you can see by the above Ukraine has lost it's undeveloped resources like lithium to Russia. I would conclude that this is the enticement by President Trump to get Zellinskyy to agree to about anything as he is jumping at this for "security assurances", namely Russia not hanging his ass.
The President can agree to terms that America will get Ukrainian mineral rights, and know Russia has them, and know America will probably never get them, and know that security assurances are on the backs of Europeans, not Americans, so America can have this buffer with Russia.
I do not mean to let the cat out of the bag, but these are the possible lines which are forming and are necessary for America. Personally I would like to see former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz put in charge of a European Commission for Ukraine, to handle security and exchange as Russia trusts Kurz.
The big cash in this is America putting liquid gas into Ukraine storage for sales, not buying Russian gas, and as long as the President lowers prices for Americans, I have not problem plundering these Ukrainians.
Personally I assess this as the Americans and Russians are going to promise anything to get away from each other with the intention of only living up to the parts they want, and what they both want most is those Goddamn English from starting this war up again.
I also believe that as the dwarf bit on this deal like a rabid dog, for security guarantees for minerals, and as Russia has all the minerals, that 47 is working this avenge himself on Butler and the impeachment as he hates this dirty little dwarf, in the peace will be agreed to, 47 will say, "You are not living up to your end in the minerals", and dump the security onto Europe and sell the new regime the LNG for profits.
