I will apologize as the Lame Cherry is not going into a detailed explanation as one is not necessary. I will just use the numbers.
In the above you see the spending in 2024 was around 7 trillion dollars. Elon Musk in DOGE should cut 2.5 trillion in spending as this rolls to defense cuts which Mr. Trump stated were coming. So we are not dealing with 7 trillion, but 5.5 trillion. The government in taxes took in almost 5 trillion, leaving 500 billion. Tariffs will generate almost 1 trillion in revenues. Last time I checked my Brier Patch math that leaves a 500 billion dollar surplus.
Now that is the simple version. Can tariffs balance the budget in bringing in the 5.5 trillion? Yes they can. What is the rub in this is, the assholes always bitch that tariffs are a tax on consumers, but they never bitch that income taxes are thee most penalized theft against working Americans. They are regressive because they penalize people trying to earn money, while a tariff is progressive in you only pay it, if you are buying things like a VAT tax.
Tariffs worked in America, because they were linked to small government. Once this group of shylocks got a hold of the Treasury and income tax, they started looting America wholesale by crooked Congress in spending bills.
DOGE is cutting spending and that is necessary as President Reagan demanded and was thwarted. What President Trump is engaged in, is killing this vile economic rapine against Americans. The internal tax is removed and it becomes and external tax. There are things which come into play with this in production. Eggs were cheap until the USDA keeping that healing protein from the vaxed, killed off all the hens with bird flu which is fake, like this coffee shortage is bogus as caffienne as used in treatment too for this bioweapon. So do not fall for the, "America has high union wages and benefits which makes production in America impossible. Eggs were 99 cents a dozen in this environment of unions and benefits. It was fraud flu that spiked by killing innocent chickens.
Cut the spending as David Stockman for Ronald Reagan laid out, move to a tariff system that cuts off and kills the graft to the nation rapists, and the core principle returns to America. Let me be frank in this, those American corporates in Bill Clinton moved jobs from unions to offshore, where they had a 70% junk rate on what was produced. Put a tariff on that shit hole and their money is gone and they have to return to America where they get a 100% production value in precise American workers.

There must be spending cuts and there must be a graduation to e currency to absorb the expansion. All that is over the head of shit heads who benefit from the current rapine.
