The problem with ground operations means someone has to be on the ground. Saudi Arabia has proven it does not like the land fighting no more than the Yemeni forces of whatever tribe they are.
The support of this operation is though with US and Saudi naval operations, as they are talking about an operation from the east and south, to take the port Hodeida and the capital of Aden.

Failure means bombing Iran, which will create a Houthi problem in Iran, as this all goes back to killing off regimes who are a problem, as bombing alone does not solve the politics.
