Putin, Kuchma and Yanukovych
On July 26, 2004, the then President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, received Vladimir Putin in the Livadia Palace in Yalta, Crimea. They arranged a meeting with Ukrainian and Russian oligarchs, among whom were Rinat Akhmetov, Ihor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk, Vagit Alekperov from Lukoil, Oleg Deripaska from RUSAL and Vladimir Yevtushenkov from AFK Sistema. At this meeting, cooperation between the two countries was discussed — in fact, they just shared areas of interest. Oligarchs and Putin were also presented with a pro-government candidate for the presidency of Ukraine — then Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. In July 2004, everything seemed to be going according to the calculated scenario: Ukraine refused to join NATO and the EU, Yanukovych gained ratings thanks to black PR, which was mastered by Russian political technologists. But everything ended with the victory of the Orange Revolution.

Everything was going along East European well enough to the 2004 Russian Ukrainian meeting of cooperation of the oligarchs on energy. President Kuchma was on friendly terms with Russia. He was not joining NATO and wrote it into official law. He had picked his successor, a thug Yankovych and President Putin was backing this guy too as Russian friendly.........and then things started happening.

In an interview in 2021, the former Russian banker and former friend of Putin, Sergei Pugachev, recalled how Putin spent huge sums of money on Yanukovych's campaign in 2004. He was sure that he would have a pocket Ukrainian president. But these plans were hindered by "some people over there".
On the way to the elections, someone poisoned the contender Yushchenko, who did not look so handsome after his poisoning. Things kind of got away from Ukraine at this point, so saying Russia was behind the poisoning when Russia was harmed by it, points to another direction.

So Putin's guy did not win and the Russian position went precarious as Russian election experts had lost this election, with some help from "people over there" as President Putin stated.
Enter 2006 and another election, and this time, you will remember this guy, Paul Manafort appeared and he worked an American miracle and got the Russian guy elected. Knowing who is behind all of this now, you can see why Paul Manafort and his wife were in their underwear at 6 AM with the FBI pointing guns at them..........Manafort was legal, and had been investing money from the winners in Ukraine, which infuriated the Rothschild and Kaganite guilds, so he was going to be made an example of, just like Donald Trump and you should get wiffs of this in Russiagate, Jan 6 and the Trump witch hunt to the Butler assassination, as this is where this all generates out of.
A U.S. embassy cable sent from Kiev to Washington in 2006 described Manafort’s job as giving an “extreme makeover” to a presidential hopeful named Viktor Yanukovych, who had the backing of the Kremlin and most of Ukraine’s wealthiest tycoons. His Party of Regions, the cable said, was “a haven” for “mobsters and oligarchs.”
So enter the Obama order, and the Kaganite, Victoria Nuland, who spent 5 billion in American taxpayer money to overthrow the elected government of Ukraine, which now has this murderous stooge Zellinskyy in control, offering the same mineral deal to America that this bunch has already signed and more in a 100 year deal with London.
Nuland is NOT Euro centric. And I think we've got to do something to make it stick together because you can be pretty sure that if it does start to gain altitude, that the Russians will be working behind the scenes to try to torpedo it. And again the fact that this is out there right now, I'm still trying to figure out in my mind why Yanukovych (garbled) that. In the meantime there's a Party of Regions faction meeting going on right now and I'm sure there's a lively argument going on in that group at this point. But anyway we could land jelly side up on this one if we move fast. So let me work on Klitschko and if you can just keep... we want to try to get somebody with an international personality to come out here and help to midwife this thing. The other issue is some kind of outreach to Yanukovych but we probably regroup on that tomorrow as we see how things start to fall into place.

The Russians understand all of this, who is behind all of this, and the American CIA Mockingbird has suppressed all of this time line of information, so Americans will have zero understanding of what Ukraine is and was and what it is being tooled for. It is why the Lame Cherry would prefer that President Donald Trump would sign a peace with Russia, get the hell out of there, as London, Paris and Berlin for the pawn shop brokers is going to with this Kiev crook class resort to terrorism and start this as a major war as soon as they can.
