The Lame Cherry expects a collapse of the Berlin regime of Fritz Merz sometime this summer. He has no confidence of the Volk, and he has nothing but factions fighting in hatred against each other in his cabinet.
I ponder what will bring this downfall, and offer another projection which may indeed by the flashpoint, not in economics, but in the final jeopardy move of Berlin transferring Taurus missiles to strike inside Russia, but to do it secretly.
Perhaps Germany will transfer some fighter jets too, to carry these missiles as Ukraine has nothing that will launch them without major overhauls.
If these missiles are used inside Russia, Russia will strike Germany which is the intent of these war nuts from Berlin, London and Paris.
The backdrop of this is, Kiev is not interested in a ceasefire, other than to rearm for an autumn offensive against Russia. Kiev Nazis will be hunt in peace, so Zellinskyy again will delay, lie and sabotage.
As Russia will keep striking to put pressure on Kiev, this will then usher in the way for Merz to transfer missiles and jets to Kiev to strike Russia, as Merz has it in his head that this will reset the combat for Ukrainian balance. It will do nothing of the sort, as once the Taurus appears and strikes Crimea or inside Russia, Russia is going to go full Hazel Tree, and it would be a gambit to pound military targets inside Germany to make the Volk rise up and cause a no confidence vote.

This is the only probable solution to this which Russia is weighing. Does Europe have the stomach and political will to literally fight Russia, and does Russia desire to risk the expansion of the war, by smiting Germany and toppling the Berlin regime as the probable outcome in Russia hitting Germany over the Taurus strikes.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio must get out in front of this and issue a simple statement, "If Berlin issues long range missiles to Ukraine to strike Russia in any form, the United States does not support this escalation. If Russia responds in defense, and strikes outside of Ukraine concerning these missiles, the United States will not respond from American bases in Germany, due to such a Russian response."
Fritz then stands alone as Paris and London will not rise to protect Germans. Merz regime collapses and Germany is freed.
