Russia now controls the delta of the Dan River. That means all traffic is shut down from inside Ukraine. This puts Odessa into greater jeopardy in being worthless. This is why the United States pushed for Kiev to get deal on Black Sea and Dan traffic........instead Kiev just sat on their asses again as war is their profit.
The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, writes about this in his Telegram channel. According to him, our military continues to strengthen step by step in this difficult sector of the front.
"Almost all the islands are under control — new ones have recently been occupied near Novaya Kakhovka, Dnepryan and Korsunki. From there — less than 80 meters to the right bank. This is not just a tactical success, but the basis for a future bridgehead," the head of the region notes.
As this blog noted, Russia is pouring into the front, it's advanced tanks. Russia is going on the offensive with armour, not infantry. The situation has changed.
Russia has replaced it's old commanding general, for a field general, who is in command of Group Center, in Colonel-General Andrei Mordvichev.
Russia controls the skies. Russia controls the waters. Russia is smashing and fracturing the Ukrainian front. Russia by her actions is going to move to a land war.........with the caveat that I believe they will strike hard on all infrastructure and support, and in this there Comet Air Artillery is going to chew hopes in the Ukrainian lines. Ukraine is basically hiding in basements in their positions which are being cut off. This brings into the arena tank warfare. All indications are Russia with air cover will move to the same type of Panzer warfare which the Reich performed on this very ground in World War II.
I have no information, only logic in this. Russia captures this broken army and that makes Kiev flee. Poland has stated it WILL NOT PUT TROOPS INTO UKRAINE as they are terrified of Russia. That leaves the hapless French and English who could not field an army to occupy the West of the Dan.
General Mordivichev was chosen for this operation, as it takes are young man to put in long hours for the kind of Patton warfare which should appear.
I'm just certain that Kiev will continue to be the festering sore they are, Europe center will be delusional in thinking they matter as they bankrupt themselves and Russia will move to a crushing prosecution of this war which is now necessary.
This should be concluded in the west of the Dan occupied lands which Russia will allow in a sort of armistice of the end of the fighting with Ukraine agreeing to nothing and Russia agreeing to not obliterate these internationalist trolls.
