This blog has published who assassinated the Maestro of Wagner Group, so long ago that most of us have forgotten the episode of mutiny which arose from the slaughter of Wagner musicians recruited from prisons as fodder.
It is the President of Belarussia though who provided finally the reason why the Maestro was removed with extreme prejudice.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of PMC Wagner, sought to seize nuclear weapons during the June 24, 2023 mutiny – an outcome that was not ruled out even by the West, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with American blogger Mario Nawfal.
There is absolutely no proof that the small force of Wagner could have overthrown Russia, so the Government was not in jeopardy. Yes they could have made things providential for the Nazi of Kiev in this protest, but the reality is that the Maestro may have gotten his hands on nuclear weapons. Again though, having your hands on nuclear weapons is not having the launch codes, and having them makes one a nuclear target of Moscow, as Moscow is not going to allow them to be used in Ukraine nor to draw fire from NATO.
For all the good which the Maestro accomplished and all his genius, this act was not well thought out and not well played. He was a trusted extension of President Putin, and for emotional reasons, he ended that trust.
He simply flew too high and gained too much attention for a position he was not ready for or had the protection to be kept alive for. His African success was his undoing as was Colonel Khadaffi's in who targeted them.
